Itinerary

Day 1 - Individual arrival in Linz
Your cycling holiday starts in Linz. You receive your travel documents at check-in.

Hotel examples: Your accommodation will probably be in the hotel specified above however, in the event that the hotel is unavailable on the required date, an equivalent hotel will be booked.
Day 2 - Cycle tour into the Upper Danube Valley, approx. 55 km
Handover of your rented bike for your cycling tour takes place in our bike centre. The first cycle tour on the Danube cycle path leads upstream via Ottensheim to the bathing lakes in Feldkirchen. Don't forget: Pack your swimming gear in your saddlebags. Cross the Danube in Aschach and cycle back towards Linz on the right bank. Shortly before reaching the city, it is worth taking a break to visit the baroque Wilhering Abbey.
Day 3 - Cycle tour from Steyr via Enns and Mauthausen to Linz, approx. 55 km
Travel comfortably by train to the romantic town of Steyr. Cycle along the Enns cycle path to Enns, the oldest town in Austria. Cross the Danube bridge to reach the small town of Mauthausen, where you can visit the Mauthausen Memorial. You cover the last few kilometers of the star cycle tour on your cycling vacation in Upper Austria on the Danube Cycle Path.
Day 4 - Discover Linz
This day on your cycling vacation along the Danube Cycle Path is all about the cultural city of Linz. Numerous sights such as the LENTOS Art Museum, Ars Electronica Center or Linz Castle can be visited free of charge with the Linz-Card. Don't miss the ride on the cable car up Linz's Pöstlingberg. A magnificent view of the city is worthwhile for amateur photographers and influencers. The 4th evening of the cycling vacation in Linz has something special in store for you: an open-air serenade in the arcade courtyard of the Linzer Landhaus. Day 5 - Cycle tour to Ansfelden and St. Florian, approx. 45 km
The last cycle tour on your cycling vacation along the Danube Cycle Path is dedicated to the 200th anniversary of Anton Bruckner's birth. You start in the direction of Ansfelden, Bruckner's birthplace, and continue to St. Florian Abbey, where the composer was buried under 'his' organ. You cycle back to your hotel via Lake Plesching.
Day 6 - Individual departure

Security for your booking
As a tour operator, the safety, well-being and health of our customers are top priorities for us. We are constantly monitoring the current situation and are in close contact with official authorities. In the event of travel changes, we will inform you immediately. If an official travel warning is issued on your arrival date for your destination or your home town, you can of course cancel your trip free of charge or change your booking to another date.

Note for people with limited mobility
The cycle tour is not suitable for people with limited mobility. However, in specific cases it is possible to accommodate individual customer requests (e.g. barrier-free room).

Passport and visa requirements
To check in to your hotel you will need a valid passport or ID card.
For citizens of countries outside the Schengen area other regulations may apply. You are responsible for obtaining any visa you may require in good time.

Terms and Conditions of Payment:
The deposit of 10% of the tour price is due at the latest 14 days after receipt of the booking confirmation. The balance must be paid 14 days before arrival.

Cancellation Policy:
According to our General Terms and Conditions, the customer may withdraw from the contract at any time in writing. In the event of cancellation or non-commencement of travel, the following cancellation fees will become payable:
20% of the tour price up to 28 days before arrival date
30% of the tour price from 27th to 14th day before arrival date
50% of the tour price from 13th to 8th day before arrival date
70% of the tour price from 7th to 4th day before arrival date
90% of the tour price from 3rd day before arrival date to the day of arrival or “no show”

If the customer makes changes to the booking (date of travel, tour, duration, transfer of the booking to another person etc.) up to 28 days before departure, for reasons which are outside our control, we will charge a processing fee of € 50,- per booking. After this date, the cancellation policy will apply. Such changes to a booking may only be made in individual cases and if possible; the customer has no right to any changes.

Standard information
The combination of travel services offered to you is a package within the meaning of Directive (EU) 2015/2302.
This ensures that you will benefit from all EU rights applicable to packages. Company OÖ Touristik GmbH will be fully responsible for the proper performance of the package as a whole.
Additionally, as required by law, the company OÖ Touristik GmbH has protection in place to refund your payments and, where transport is included in the package, to ensure your repatriation in the event that it becomes insolvent.

The tour operator OÖ Touristik GmbH, Freistädter Str. 119, 4041 Linz has completed a bankruptcy insurance with Österreichischen Hotel- und Tourismusbank Gesellschaft m.b.H., Parkring 12a, 1010 Wien. The liquidator is the TVA-Tourismusversicherungsagentur GmbH, Baumannstraße 9/8, A-1030 Vienna, Email: abwicklung@tourismusversicherung.at, 24-hour emergency number: +43 1 361907744.
Travelers have to contact the liquidator within 8 weeks if they are denied claims due to the insolvency of OÖ Touristik GmbH. Details on the business license of OÖ Touristik GmbH can be found on the website https://www.gisa.gv.at/abfrage under the GISA number 14930096.
