With our travel.guide and the printed cycle route book, you’ll have reliable and convenient navigation for your cycling trip.
Whether via a cycling tour app with GPS data, a traditional route guide in book form, or a combination of both – you’ll always have access to your personalised cycling route from hotel to hotel, including all stages, stops, places to eat and sights. This makes your cycling tour simple, safe and stress-free.
Both the cycle route book and the travel.guide app are available exclusively for selected cycling and mountain bike tours.

The travel.guide is a navigation app designed specifically for our cycling tours, aimed at cyclists on holiday.
It includes:

Sustainable travel: route book can be deselected
On many of our cycling tours, you can choose not to receive the printed route guide when booking. In return, you’ll receive a discount of €10 per person – or you can donate this amount to a sustainable cause. In this way, we work together to support environmentally conscious travel.
Special feature for mountain bike tours
Our mountain bike tours do not include a printed route book as standard. If you would still like a personal copy, simply select the “travel documents package” during the booking process – we will print your individual route book for you.

You can navigate either using the travel.guide app with its GPS function or with the help of the printed cycle route guide. GPX data is also available for cycle computers and smartwatches.
Yes. The routes are available offline in the app. Right at the start, you can choose whether you want the maps to be available offline. You can also download them later.
Yes, the travel.guide app is free to use. You don’t need to register. All you need is your booking reference (starting with RAD-…, WAN-… or MTB-…).
Yes. Both include your booked, personalised cycling route, complete with all stages, hotels, restaurant recommendations and places of interest.
That depends on your preferences.
The app offers flexible GPS navigation, whilst the route book provides a reliable, technology-independent alternative. Many guests use both options in combination.
The travel.guide and the printed cycle route guide are available for all appropriately marked cycling tours, walking tours and mountain bike tours in the following destinations.

Yes, for most of our cycling tours, you can choose not to receive a printed copy of the guidebook during the booking process. As a thank you, you will receive a discount of €10 per person. You can choose whether this amount is deducted from the tour price or donated to a sustainable project.
Your personalised, printed cycling route guide will be waiting for you at your first hotel (the hotel where you arrive) on the day of your arrival.
For all trips where the travel.guide is not included, you will find details regarding the type of travel documents and navigation directly in the included services section of the relevant travel offer.
This clearly states whether, for example:
- a printed route book,
- digital GPX data,
- maps or
- another form of route description
This way, you’ll know before booking which navigation solution is provided for your chosen tour.
