This cycling tour along the Tauern Cycle Path offers you natural wonders every day, without having to pack your bags. Day 1 - Welcome to Zell am See – arrive and take a deep breath
Individual arrival in the Salzburg region. After checking into your room, there will be time for a first walk along the promenade – or a short bike ride to warm up. Perhaps you will be tempted to stop for refreshments on a sunny terrace with a view of the lake. Here you will immediately sense that your cycling vacation will be an enjoyable combination of cycling and relaxation.Day 2 - Roundtrip through the Fuschertal to the Grossglockner High Alpine Road, approx. 40 km
The start of your centre cycle tour takes you through the idyllic Fuschertal valley. Surrounded by peaks such as the Brennkogel and the Hoher Tenner, you cycle leisurely towards Ferleiten, where the valley opens dramatically onto the Grossglockner High Alpine Road. In the “Mühlauer Säge” museum, you will learn more about the history of this famous panoramic road in a charming way. If you wish, you can extend the bike tour to the Ferleiten toll gate – with a fantastic view of the high alpine world (+ 7 km / 340 m elevation gain).Day 3 - Excursion to Krimml by train or bus (without bike)
Today you change modes of transport: take the local train or bus to Krimml. Here you hike along the rushing Krimmler Ache river up to the highest waterfalls in Europe – the Krimml Waterfalls! On well-maintained hiking trails, you can enjoy the view of thundering masses of water, rainbows in the spray, and quiet spots for a snack with a view.Day 4 - Roundtrip to Maria Alm, approx. 30 km
This cycling stage is a leisurely one: you start along Lake Zell, cycle through meadow landscapes to Maishofen, and take a pleasant break at the traditional Kammer Castle – ideal for a second breakfast or a midday snack in the beautiful garden. Then you continue your bike tour to pretty Maria Alm with its striking pilgrimage church and back to Zell am See.Day 5 - Roundtrip to Kaprun and ascent to the Kitzsteinhorn, approx. 40 km
A highlight of your cycling holiday awaits you today: you will cycle leisurely to Kaprun, where the modern cable car will take you effortlessly to an altitude of over 3,000 m. “Top of Salzburg” is the name of the spectacular panoramic platform on the Kitzsteinhorn – with unobstructed views of snow-capped three-thousand-meter peaks and the entire Hohe Tauern National Park. Reclining chairs, viewing terraces, and a café invite you to pause for a moment before relaxing back down into the valley.Day 6 - Individual departure or extra nights
After breakfast, your cycling vacation comes to an end—or you can stay a few more days and enjoy the wellness area of your hotel or take further excursions around Zell am See.

Board: The rich breakfast buffet is included in the room price at the 4-star Hotel Latini. When booking half board: buffet or set menu in the evening.
Note for people with limited mobility
The cycle tour is not suitable for people with limited mobility. However, in specific cases it is possible to accommodate individual customer requests (e.g. barrier-free room).
Passport and visa requirements
To check in to your hotel you will need a valid passport or ID card.
For citizens of countries outside the Schengen area other regulations may apply. You are responsible for obtaining any visa you may require in good time.
Terms and Conditions of Payment:
The deposit of 10% of the tour price is due at the latest 14 days after receipt of the booking confirmation. The balance must be paid 14 days before arrival.
Cancellation Policy:
According to our General Terms and Conditions, the customer may withdraw from the contract at any time in writing. In the event of cancellation or non-commencement of travel, the following cancellation fees will become payable:
20% of the tour price up to 28 days before arrival date
30% of the tour price from 27th to 14th day before arrival date
50% of the tour price from 13th to 8th day before arrival date
70% of the tour price from 7th to 4th day before arrival date
90% of the tour price from 3rd day before arrival date to the day of arrival
If the customer makes changes of the date of travel up to 28 days before departure, we will charge a processing fee of € 50,00 per booking. After this date, the cancellation policy will apply. Such changes to a booking may only be made in individual cases and if possible; the customer has no right to any changes.
