New in Season 2025: No more printed bike book & handlebar bag
Together for a Good Cause: We want to contribute to sustainability – and our guests can support us in this effort starting from the 2025 season. By opting out of the printed bike book and handlebar bag when booking a cycling, mountain biking, or hiking trip, guests can save valuable resources and receive a €10 discount per person in return. Our guests can decide whether the discount is deducted from the trip price or donated to a good sustainable cause.

Cycling Holidays in the Lake District
An exploring journey of the picturesque Austrian Lake District that offers plenty of highlights. The Salzkammergut Cycle Path leads through the Salzkammergut Region, one of the most impressive areas of Austria. There are plenty of sights which are worth stopping at during your Cycling Holidays. The cycle path goes past 13 lakes and the most beautiful villages of the Salzkammergut. Salzkammergut Cycle PathYour Cycling Holidays in Salzkammergut Region start at Salzburg City, the City of Mozart. The Cycle Path covers a total of 345 km. 1,850 m of altitude gain have to be covered. The Cycle Way is signposted in all directions- R2 (in Upper Austria), R19 with the inscription of "Salzkammergut Radweg" (in Styria), green signposts with the inscription "Salzkammergut Radweg" (in Salzburg). Most sections of the Cycle Route are asphalt-covered. Depending on your chosen holiday offer you manage to cycle between 64 km and 357 km on your cycle tours. The Best Season
The best months to cycle the Lake District in Austria are May, June, September and October. In July and August is main season at the Salzkammergut lakes which are a favourite holiday destination in Austria.
