Arrival and departure

Arrival and departure must always be organised individually and is not included.  With your travel documents you will receive our recommendations and tips.

Arrival
Unattended or guarded parking spaces are available at every starting point of the cycle tour.  You will receive detailed information with your travel documents.  The starting points have been chosen so that they are also easily accessible by public transport.  If you are planning to travel to the end point of your cycle tour, you can use the train ticket (if included) on the day of arrival.  Please indicate this when booking.

Departure
The return trip to the starting point of the bike tour is included in some tours.  If this is offered as an additional cost, you will find details in the price table.  If you do not need the return transport, please provide this information at the time of booking so that we can offer you an immediate price reduction.

Cyclist Scale

Level 1: for beginners and families with children

These cycling tours are characterised by short daily stages of up to 40 kilometres. You cycle on flat cycle paths along rivers and lakes. Even children can easily cover these distances in up to 5 stages. Enjoy during your bike rides plenty of time for fun and games as well as sightseeing. These cycling tours are perfect for occasional cyclists and families with children.

Level 2: Cycling for pleasure

Pleasant cycling tours on flat cycle paths with 5-7 daily stages between 40 and 70 kilometres. The flat river and lake landscapes offer many opportunities to get to know the country and its people. If you regularly use your bike at home for smaller or larger rides, then you can manage level 2 tours easily.

Level 3: Hobby and leisure cyclists

For all cyclists who have a certain amount of basic fitness and can easily manage several small ascents in a row. In 5-7 cycling days you can cover between 40 and 70 kilometres a day. In terms of landscape, you can expect hilly lake and alpine landscapes or more daily kilometres on flat cycle paths. If you have already enjoyed a cycling vacation and you are used to the schedule and free time management, a Level 3 tour is certainly the right tour for you.

Level 4: Experienced cyclists with stamina

Are you looking for a cycling challenge? The more climbs the better? And preferable in a scenic mountain world? Congratulations - you are in the right place! On your daily tours you will cycle between 60 and 90 kilometres a day. In more than 6 daily stages you will discover impressive natural landscapes. 

Level 5: Sporty ambitious cyclists

These tours are really challenging. Long daily stages of up to 80 kilometres on more than 7 cycling days in a row make your heart beat faster. You love to cover kilometres and the sporting challenge of a tour. The mere thought of the many crisp climbs will make your adrenalin level rise. The tours lead through very hilly to mountainous regions with summit experiences.

Service-Hotline

If there are any kinds of problems during your cycle tour please let us know. Our service hotline number is indicated in your travel documents and you can call us on weekdays, during the weekend as well as on bank holidays. In case you are not satisfied with your accommodation, please try to solve the problem at first with your host. If it is not possible to find a solution, we are pleased to help. Please keep in mind that by not informing us about problems you may diminish your later demands.

Luggage Transfer

We transport your luggage from hotel to hotel from the point of arrival to the stage destination of the package tour. Please note the respective limits on luggage and weight per tour. You are responsible for the organisation and liability for the return journey to the place of arrival. No compensation can be paid for damage to items that have been stored in the luggage. A certain amount of wear and tear, similar to flying, must be expected.

Travel Documents

You will receive your travel documents by mail about 3 weeks before arrival. Depending on the tour, we will send you your individualized road book with personalized route guidance, tips for places to stop, sights, hotel vouchers, tickets, luggage tags, or you will receive them at your first accommodation. You will also receive a link to the online map for your mobile device.

Payment

If you want to pay with Visa, Mastercard or American Express, we ask you to provide us with the exact data (cardholder, expiry date, 16-digit credit card number) at the time of booking.

Discount for children

The reduction according to the offer description is valid for the 3rd and 4th person in an extra bed with 2 full-paying persons in a double room. The child reduction does not apply to the bike rental. Any costs for baby or cribs for a 100% reduction are to be paid on site. Single with child: This discount is applied to 1 full-paying personand 1 child granted. Details in the offer.

You will receive a booking confirmation within 3 workdays. This confirmation is also your invoice and includes all the general information about your journey. Should the tour of your choice be fully booked or if we have questions, we will contact you!

We apologise for any inconvenience that this may cause, due to the high demand, in exceptional cases a slightly longer processing time may occur.

For any belated changes of the booking we will quote a fee of € 50,- for each change.
