Itinerary

Day 1 - Individual arrival in Dresden
Welcome to the magnificent Elbe metropolis of Dresden! After your individual arrival, you will move into your comfortable hotel room. If booked, your rental bike will already be ready for you. In the evening you will enjoy a delicious welcome menu - a perfect start to your cycle tour along the Elbe.

Day 2 - Cycle Tour to Moritzburg Castle, approx. 35 km
Today your bike tour takes you comfortably along the Elbe to Radebeul, the city of wine and Karl May. From here you take the historic narrow-gauge railway 'Lößnitzdackel' to Moritzburg. The fairytale Moritzburg Castle, surrounded by an idyllic park and ponds, invites you to visit (admission optional). The return journey takes you via Friedewald back to Dresden, past the Japanese Palace - with magnificent views of the Elbe.
Day 3 - Cycle Tour to Saxon Switzerland, approx. 50 km + boat trip or train ride
A highlight of your trip awaits you today: you cycle on the Elbe Cycle Path through the impressive landscape of Saxon Switzerland. Passing the famous Bastei and the imposing Königstein Fortress, you will reach Bad Schandau. In the afternoon, you can return to Dresden either by the historic Elbe steamer or comfortably by train (optional, approx. &euro 35 p.p.). An unforgettable combination of nature, culture and comfort!
Day 4 - Cycle Tour to Meissen, approx. 50 km
Today you follow the Elbe downstream past the castles of Scharfenberg and Gauernitz to the traditional city of Meißen. Discover the impressive Albrechtsburg, the imposing cathedral and the famous porcelain manufactory. The return trip is along the opposite bank of the Elbe, a beautiful panoramic tour through the Saxon Elbe Valley.
Day 5 - Cycle Tour to Pillnitz Castle, approx. 30 km
Today's stage takes you over the famous 'Blue Wonder', the Löschwitz Bridge, to Pillnitz. There you will visit the magnificent Pillnitz Castle (admission included) with its magnificent castle park - once the summer residence of the Saxon royal family. Afterwards you cycle relaxed back to Dresden.
Day 6 - Rest day and city tour Dresden
Today, the cultural city of Dresden is the center of attention: Experience the baroque old town on an individual hop-on hop-off city tour. Sights such as the Zwinger, the Frauenkirche, the Semperoper and the Blue Wonder are waiting to be discovered by you. Enjoy the charm of 'Florence on the Elbe' with a coffee on the Brühl Terrace.
Day 7 - Individual journey home or additional nights
After a leisurely breakfast, your cycle tour along the Elbe ends. Individual journey home or extension of your stay in Dresden possible.

In about 10 minutes you can reach Dresden's old town with the world-famous Frauenkirche, the Zwinger and the Semperoper. An ideal location for those who want to combine culture, comfort and tranquility by the water.

Facilities:
The modern hotel offers 328 spacious comfort rooms and impresses with a light-flooded lobby over four floors. The restaurant with winter garden spoils you with culinary highlights and a magnificent view over the Elbe. Guests can relax in the spacious spa area with swimming pool and fitness room (free use). Finnish sauna, steam bath, sanarium and soothing massages are available for an extra charge. A cosy bar invites you to linger in the evening.

Rooms:
The stylishly furnished Classic Rooms (approx. 29 m²) offer modern comfort and elegant furnishings. All rooms have bath/WC, hairdryer, air conditioning, TV, telephone, safe, minibar and comfortable seating. The Classic rooms are located on the 1st to 4th floors of the house.

Culinary:
Start the day with a rich international breakfast buffet. If you book half board, you can enjoy a delicious 3-course menu or a varied dinner buffet in the evening (at the chef's choice, on an evening out).

Parking possibilities:
The hotel has its own underground car park. Costs approx. € 17,00 per night, payable on site). There are also parking facilities in the nearby side streets.

Note for people with limited mobility
The cycle tour is not suitable for people with limited mobility. However, in specific cases it is possible to accommodate individual customer requests (e.g. barrier-free room).

Passport and visa requirements
To check in to your hotel you will need a valid passport or ID card.
For citizens of countries outside the Schengen area other regulations may apply. You are responsible for obtaining any visa you may require in good time.

Terms and Conditions of Payment:
The deposit of 10% of the tour price is due at the latest 14 days after receipt of the booking confirmation. The balance must be paid 14 days before arrival.

Cancellation Policy:
According to our General Terms and Conditions, the customer may withdraw from the contract at any time in writing. In the event of cancellation or non-commencement of travel, the following cancellation fees will become payable:
20% of the tour price up to 28 days before arrival date
30% of the tour price from 27th to 14th day before arrival date
50% of the tour price from 13th to 8th day before arrival date
70% of the tour price from 7th to 4th day before arrival date
90% of the tour price from 3rd day before arrival date to the day of arrival

If the customer makes changes of the date of travel up to 28 days before departure, we will charge a processing fee of € 50,00 per booking. After this date, the cancellation policy will apply. Such changes to a booking may only be made in individual cases and if possible; the customer has no right to any changes.
