Itinerary
  • Day 1 - Individual arrival in Friedrichshafen/surroundings

    Individual arrival for your cycling holiday on Lake Constance. Explore Friedrichshafen, the city of zeppelins, with its beautiful lakeside promenade and famous Zeppelin Museum.

  • Day 2 - From Friedrichshafen/surroundings to the Bregenz region, approx. 35–45 km

    Your cycle tour takes you along the sparkling Lake Constance to Lindau, where you can explore the charming old town and the famous Löwenmole pier with its lighthouse, the town's landmark. You then continue on to Bregenz, the cultural metropolis on the eastern shore. Stroll through the old town or take the cable car up the Pfänder and enjoy the panoramic view over the lake and the Alps. You will reach Höchst through the impressive nature reserve of the Rhine Delta, Europe's largest freshwater delta. Overnight stays are also possible in the Höchst, Lustenau, Dornbirn or St. Margrethen region.

  • Day 3 - From the Bregenz region to Constance, approx. 55–65 km

    Today you will cycle through the idyllic Rhine delta into Switzerland. The canton of Thurgau delights with its rolling hills, small villages and vast orchards. Along the lake, you will enjoy fantastic views of the Alpine backdrop. The destination for the day is Konstanz, the largest city on Lake Constance with a picturesque old town. If you wish, you can shorten the route by approx. 20 km by taking the train from Romanshorn to Konstanz (on your own).

  • Day 4 - Day trip to Stein am Rhein and Radolfzell, approx. 75 km

    A highlight of your cycling holiday on Lake Constance is the ride along the Untersee to Stein am Rhein, famous for its painted half-timbered houses and well-preserved old town. Try fine Swiss chocolate specialities at the Gottlieber factory shop. Cycle along picturesque nature reserves to Radolfzell and over the dam to the UNESCO World Heritage Island of Reichenau, famous for its vegetable cultivation and historic monasteries.

  • Day 5 - From Constance to Friedrichshafen/surroundings, approx. 45–60 km

    Your final stage takes you to the magnificent flower island of Mainau, where you can relax amidst exotic blooms. You will cross Lake Überlingen by boat to Überlingen. Along the route, you will find the baroque Birnau monastery church and the Unteruhldingen pile dwelling museum before returning to Friedrichshafen. A perfect end to your eventful cycling tour on Lake Constance.

Note for people with limited mobility
The cycle tour is not suitable for people with limited mobility. However, in specific cases it is possible to accommodate individual customer requests (e.g. barrier-free room).

Passport and visa requirements
To check in to your hotel you will need a valid passport or ID card.
For citizens of countries outside the Schengen area other regulations may apply. You are responsible for obtaining any visa you may require in good time.


Terms and Conditions of Payment:
The deposit of 10% of the tour price is due at the latest 14 days after receipt of the booking confirmation. The balance must be paid 14 days before arrival.

Cancellation Policy:
According to our General Terms and Conditions, the customer may withdraw from the contract at any time in writing. In the event of cancellation or non-commencement of travel, the following cancellation fees will become payable:
20% of the tour price up to the 28th day before departure
30% of the tour price from 27th to 14th day before departure
50% of the tour price from the 13th to the 8th day before departure
70% of the tour price from 7th to 4th day before departure
90% of the tour price from the 3rd day before departure until the day of arrival

If the customer makes changes to the booking (date of travel, tour, duration, transfer of the booking to another person etc.) up to 28 days before departure, for reasons which are outside our control, we will charge a processing fee of € 50,00 per booking. After this date, the cancellation policy will apply. Such changes to a booking may only be made in individual cases and if possible; the customer has no right to any changes.
