On your cycling holiday at Lake Constance, you cycle in short stages and quite leisurely along the eastern part of the lake, called Obersee. The 6-day cycling tour leads through Germany, Austria and Switzerland, where places and attractions await you along the way. Tip: Be sure to have your swimsuit ready. During the tour, there are always opportunities for a break on the shore and in the water.

Day 1 - Individual arrival in Bregenz/surroundings
Individual arrival in the Bregenz region or one of the neighbouring towns such as Höchst, Lustenau, Dornbirn or St. Margrethen. Upon arrival, you will receive your travel documents and your rental bike (if booked).
Example of Hotel: Hotel Amedia in LustenauDay 2 - From Bregenz/surroundings to Constance/Kreuzlingen, approx. 55–65 km
Your first longer stage takes you along Lake Constance. You will pass the famous festival theatre and lake stage in Bregenz before continuing on to Mehrerau Abbey, the only active monastery on the Austrian side of Lake Constance. Crossing the Rheinspitz nature reserve, you will reach the Swiss lakeside town of Rorschach, pass Romanshorn and finally arrive in the historic council city of Constance.

Today, you will cycle along Lake Untersee to the charming town of Radolfzell. The route continues via Bodman and Sipplingen to the beautiful lake promenade in Überlingen. In Unteruhldingen, we recommend a visit to the Lake Dwelling Museum, which offers insights into life in the Stone and Bronze Ages.

Your cycle tour along Lake Constance takes you to Meersburg, where you can visit the New Palace and Germany's oldest inhabited castle. The tour continues to the Friedrichshafen region with its Zeppelin Museum, which brings the history of airship travel to life.

The last stage of your cycling tour begins in the Argenmündung nature reserve (tour to Laimnau possible, +18 km) and leads to the island town of Lindau. The tour continues to the festival town of Bregenz, where you can optionally take the cable car up the Pfänder mountain and enjoy a breathtaking view of Lake Constance.

Your Lake Constance cycling tour ends after breakfast. You have the option of extending your stay with additional nights
Hotel note: We make every effort to book the hotels mentioned by name. However, if one is not available, we will switch to an equivalent company.
Parking facilities
Subject to availability at the arrival hotel (approx. € 10,00 to € 20,00/day). Chargeable parking garages in the city centre (approx. € 180,00/week). No reservation possible.
Note for people with limited mobility
The cycle tour is not suitable for people with limited mobility. However, in specific cases it is possible to accommodate individual customer requests (e.g. barrier-free room).
Passport and visa requirements
To check in to your hotel you will need a valid passport or ID card.
For citizens of countries outside the Schengen area other regulations may apply. You are responsible for obtaining any visa you may require in good time.
Terms and Conditions of Payment:
The deposit of 10% of the tour price is due at the latest 14 days after receipt of the booking confirmation. The balance must be paid 14 days before arrival.
Cancellation Policy:
According to our General Terms and Conditions, the customer may withdraw from the contract at any time in writing. In the event of cancellation or non-commencement of travel, the following cancellation fees will become payable:
20% of the tour price up to the 28th day before departure
30% of the tour price from 27th to 14th day before departure
50% of the tour price from the 13th to the 8th day before departure
70% of the tour price from 7th to 4th day before departure
90% of the tour price from the 3rd day before departure until the day of arrival or in case of no-show
If the customer makes changes to the booking (date of travel, tour, duration, transfer of the booking to another person etc.) up to 28 days before departure, for reasons which are outside our control, we will charge a processing fee of € 50,00 per booking. After this date, the cancellation policy will apply. Such changes to a booking may only be made in individual cases and if possible; the customer has no right to any changes.

In case of a booking your announced data will be only used from OÖ Touristik GmbH for the process of bookings and related transactions and will be passed on only in the context of the contractual relationship to third parties. The combination of travel services offered to you is a package within the meaning of Directive (EU) 2015/2302.
This ensures that you will benefit from all EU rights applicable to packages. OÖ Touristik GmbH will be fully responsible for the proper performance of the package.
As per law in the event of insolvency of OÖ Touristik GmbH the company refunds payments already made and additionally takes care of return transport, if originally included.

The liquidator is the Europäische Reiseversicherung AG, Kratochwjlestraße 4, 1220 Wien, Email: info@europaeische.at, 24-hour emergency number: +43 1 3172500.
Travelers have to contact the liquidator within 8 weeks if they are denied claims due to the insolvency of OÖ Touristik GmbH. Details on the business license of OÖ Touristik GmbH can be found on the website https://www.gisa.gv.at/abfrage under the GISA number 14930096.
