Itinerary
  • Day 1 - Individual arrival to Constance

    Start your cycling tour on Lake Constance in a relaxed manner in the historic university town of Konstanz. Stroll through the romantic alleys of the old town, visit the Archaeological Museum or discover the fascinating underwater world at the Sea Life Centre. A detour to the famous flower island of Mainau with its colourful gardens is a real highlight for connoisseurs.

  • Day 2 - From Constance to Friedrichshafen, approx. 40–45 km + Boat Trip

    Today, you will first cycle to Wallhausen, where you will cross Lake Überlingen by boat. In Überlingen, the Gothic cathedral and the beautiful lakeside promenade invite you to linger. Then you will cycle leisurely through sunny vineyards to Friedrichshafen. The Zeppelin Museum and the view over the sparkling lake make this day of your cycling tour on Lake Constance perfect.

  • Day 3 - From Friedrichshafen to Lindau/Bregenz, approx. 25–35 km

    The Lake Constance Cycle Route takes you through fragrant orchards to Langenargen with its fairytale Montfort Castle. Soon afterwards, you reach Lindau in Bavaria – a real gem on the lake. The historic old town on the island with its harbour, lighthouse and Löwenmole pier is perfect for strolling around and enjoying yourself.

  • Day 4 - From Lindau/Bregenz to Horn/Rorschach/Arbon, approx. 30–50 km

    Today, you will cycle leisurely along the shore to Bregenz, the cultural capital of Vorarlberg. A visit to the lake stage, where the famous Bregenz Festival takes place every year, is well worth it. Your route then takes you through the idyllic Rhine Delta nature reserve and finally into Switzerland. In Horn, you can enjoy the view over Lake Constance with a glass of wine.

  • Day 5 - From Horn/Rorschach/Arbon to Constance, approx. 30–50 km

    The final stage takes you through the charming harbour town of Romanshorn, Switzerland's largest port on Lake Constance. The Lake Constance Cycle Route continues along the sparkling shore back to Constance. Treat yourself to an ice cream at the harbour or a leisurely dinner in one of the many restaurants with lake views to round off your cycling trip.

  • Day 6 - Individual departure or extra nights

    After a delicious breakfast, your cycling tour ends at Lake Constance. If you wish, you can extend your holiday in Constance.

    Hotel note: Your accommodation will mainly be in the hotels specified above however, in the event that a hotel is unavailable on the required date, an equivalent hotel will be booked.
Details and cancellation

Parking possibilities during your cycle holidays:
You can leave your car for your cycling holiday on Lake Constance either at the start hotel (depending on availability, chargeable, details in the travel documents) or on free parking spaces on public roads or in public parking garages (cost approx. € 25,00 / day). Furthermore, there is a fenced and locked private parking for € 49,00 per stay and car (this parking space must be reserved and paid in advance).

Note for people with limited mobility
The cycle tour is not suitable for people with limited mobility. However, in specific cases it is possible to accommodate individual customer requests (e.g. barrier-free room).

Passport and visa requirements
To check in to your hotel you will need a valid passport or ID card.
For citizens of countries outside the Schengen area other regulations may apply. You are responsible for obtaining any visa you may require in good time.

Terms and Conditions of Payment:
The deposit of 10% of the tour price is due at the latest 14 days after receipt of the booking confirmation. The balance must be paid 14 days before arrival.

Cancellation Policy:
According to our General Terms and Conditions, the customer may withdraw from the contract at any time in writing. In the event of cancellation or non-commencement of travel, the following cancellation fees will become payable:
20% of the tour price up to 28 days before arrival date
30% of the tour price from 27th to 14th day before arrival date
50% of the tour price from 13th to 8th day before arrival date
70% of the tour price from 7th to 4th day before arrival date
90% of the tour price from 3rd day before arrival date to the day of arrival

If the customer makes changes of the date of travel up to 28 days before departure, we will charge a processing fee of € 50,00 per booking. After this date, the cancellation policy will apply. Such changes to a booking may only be made in individual cases and if possible; the customer has no right to any changes.
