Itinerary

Day 1 - Individual arrival in Salzburg
The cycling holidays start in Salzburg. Check in and you receive your travel documents for your bike tour. Enjoy an individual stroll through Salzburg. Tip: We recommend an evening concert at the Fortress Hohensalzburg. Example of hotel: Hotel Amedia in Salzburg
Day 2 - From Salzburg to Lake Wolfgangsee, approx. 50 km
The handover of your rented bike (if booked) is at Hotel Amedia on your first cycling day before you leave Salzburg. Continue cycling through Salzburg's Flachgau via Eugendorf to Thalgau along the impressive Drachenwand (dragon wall) before you reach the picturesque Lake Mondsee. Up in Scharfling a magnificent view opens up towards Lake Wolfgangsee from where your cycling tour leads down rapidly to lovely St. Gilgen, Mozart's town. Depending on your booked hotel the boat and ferry ride is on the second or third day of your cycle tour. Example of hotel: Hotel Weißer Bär in St. Wolfgang
Day 3 - From Lake Wolfgangsee to Lake Traunsee, approx. 40 km
Today you cycle in direction Bad Ischl, the emperor village offers a great variety of culture, local and international specialties and history and was the summer residence of Emperor Franz Joseph and many artists. Cycling along the River Traun via Ebensee you will reach Traunkirchen. Example of hotel: Symposionhotel Post in Traunkirchen
Day 4 - From Lake Traunsee to Lake Attersee, approx. 40 km
Similar to a fjord Lake Traunsee forces its way through, between Mt. Traunstein and the Höllengebirge range. Cycling to Gmunden, well-known for its ceramics manufactory and Castle Ort we recommend a stroll along the beautiful lake promenade, before you continue your bike tour through the Aurachtal valley in direction Lake Attersee. Day 5 - From Lake Attersee to Lake Mondsee, approx. 35 km
Follow the turquoise Lake Attersee to Unterach reaching after approx. 2 km Lake Mondsee. Cycling along the north bank to the village of Mondsee, you can visit the pre-historic stilt houses and enjoy some local specialties along this cycle route. Example of hotel: Hotel Krone in Mondsee
Day 6 - From Lake Mondsee to Salzburger Lake District, approx. 45 km
Today's cycling tour leads through the lovely surroundings of Lake Mondsee, past Lake Irrsee, before you reach the Salzburger Lake District. You like beer? We recommend a stop at the Trumer beer brewery. Example of hotel: Hotel Seewirt in Mattsee
Day 7 - From Salzburger Lake District to Salzburg, approx. 45 km
Along the Salzburger Lake tour many lovely spots are ideal for a stop having a refreshing swim, before cycling back to Salzburg enjoy a last view onto the magnificent Salzkammergut mountain range. Example of hotel: Hotel Amedia in Salzburg
Day 8 - Individual departure or extra nights

Security for your booking
As a tour operator, the safety, well-being and health of our customers are top priorities for us. We are constantly monitoring the current situation and are in close contact with official authorities. In the event of travel changes, we will inform you immediately. If an official travel warning is issued on your arrival date for your destination or your home town, you can of course cancel your trip free of charge or change your booking to another date.

Note for people with limited mobility
The cycle tour is not suitable for people with limited mobility. However, in specific cases it is possible to accommodate individual customer requests (e.g. barrier-free room).

Passport and visa requirements
To check in to your hotel you will need a valid passport or ID card.
For citizens of countries outside the Schengen area other regulations may apply. You are responsible for obtaining any visa you may require in good time.

Terms and Conditions of Payment:
The deposit of 10% of the tour price is due at the latest 14 days after receipt of the booking confirmation. The balance must be paid 14 days before arrival.

Cancellation Policy:
According to our General Terms and Conditions, the customer may withdraw from the contract at any time in writing. In the event of cancellation or non-commencement of travel, the following cancellation fees will become payable:
20% of the tour price up to 28 days before arrival date
30% of the tour price from 27th to 14th day before arrival date
50% of the tour price from 13th to 8th day before arrival date
70% of the tour price from 7th to 4th day before arrival date
90% of the tour price from 3rd day before arrival date to the day of arrival

If the customer makes changes to the booking (date of travel, tour, duration, transfer of the booking to another person etc.) up to 28 days before departure, for reasons which are outside our control, we will charge a processing fee of € 50,- per booking. After this date, the cancellation policy will apply. Such changes to a booking may only be made in individual cases and if possible; the customer has no right to any changes.

Standard information
The combination of travel services offered to you is a package within the meaning of Directive (EU) 2015/2302.
This ensures that you will benefit from all EU rights applicable to packages. Company OÖ Touristik GmbH will be fully responsible for the proper performance of the package as a whole.
Additionally, as required by law, the company OÖ Touristik GmbH has protection in place to refund your payments and, where transport is included in the package, to ensure your repatriation in the event that it becomes insolvent.

The tour operator OÖ Touristik GmbH, Freistädter Str. 119, 4041 Linz has completed a bankruptcy insurance with Raiffeisen Landesbank Oberösterreich AG, Europaplatz 1a, 4020 Linz. The liquidator is the Europäische Reiseversicherung AG, Kratochwjlestraße 4, 1220 Wien, Email: info@europaeische.at, 24-hour emergency number: +43 1 3172500.
Travelers have to contact the liquidator within 8 weeks if they are denied claims due to the insolvency of OÖ Touristik GmbH. Details on the business license of OÖ Touristik GmbH can be found on the website https://www.gisa.gv.at/abfrage under the GISA number 14930096.
