On your cycle tour along the Moselle, you will discover one of Germany's most beautiful wine regions. Picturesque vineyards, idyllic river bends and charming wine-growing villages await you along the Moselle Cycle Route. During visits to the winegrowers themselves, you will learn about the diversity of Moselle wines – from aromatic Rieslings to other fine grape varieties. Day 1 - Individual arrival in Trier/Ruwertal
Start your Moselle cycle tour early in the morning and ride into the picturesque Ruwer Valley, just outside Trier. Enjoy your first night of your cycling holiday on the Moselle in a charming hotel surrounded by its own vineyards, where you can relax and sample regional wines.

This afternoon, it's worth taking a detour from the Moselle Cycle Route to the left bank of the Moselle to Trittenheim. There, you can learn all about a winegrower's year, local grape varieties and vine cultivation on the wine trail – an informative stop for all wine and food lovers.

Today, you will cycle along the Moselle Cycle Route to Bernkastel-Kues. Take the opportunity to stroll across the picturesque market square. In the renowned wine museum, you will learn everything about working in the vineyard, wine growing on steep slopes, the different grape varieties, wine storage and the rich Moselle wine culture – a highlight for leisure cyclists.

Enjoy cycling through the famous vineyards of Zeller Schwarze Katz on your Moselle cycle tour and explore the idyllic town of Beilstein, which is also known as ‘Rothenburg on the Moselle' due to its medieval charm.

A worthwhile detour during your Moselle cycle tour takes you to the impressive Eltz Castle, one of the best-preserved medieval castles in Germany. On the last few kilometres, you cycle along the Moselle and pass the traditional wine village of Kobern-Gondorf. The crowning glory of your cycle tour along the Moselle is in Koblenz, right at the famous Deutsches Eck, where the Moselle and Rhine rivers meet.

Hotel note: Your accommodation will mainly be in the hotels specified above however, in the event that a hotel is unavailable on the required date, an equivalent hotel will be booked.

Some of the hotels have their own parking facilities directly on the premises, which are either free of charge or subject to a fee. You will receive more detailed information in your travel documents
Note for people with limited mobility
The cycle tour is not suitable for people with limited mobility. However, in specific cases it is possible to accommodate individual customer requests (e.g. barrier-free room).
Passport and visa requirements
To check in to your hotel you will need a valid passport or ID card.
For citizens of countries outside the Schengen area other regulations may apply. You are responsible for obtaining any visa you may require in good time.
Terms and Conditions of Payment:
The deposit of 10% of the tour price is due at the latest 14 days after receipt of the booking confirmation. The balance must be paid 14 days before arrival.
Cancellation Policy:
According to our General Terms and Conditions, the customer may withdraw from the contract at any time in writing. In the event of cancellation or non-commencement of travel, the following cancellation fees will become payable:
20% of the tour price up to 28 days before arrival date
30% of the tour price from 27th to 14th day before arrival date
50% of the tour price from 13th to 8th day before arrival date
70% of the tour price from 7th to 4th day before arrival date
90% of the tour price from 3rd day before arrival date to the day of arrival
If the customer makes changes of the date of travel up to 28 days before departure, we will charge a processing fee of € 50,00 per booking. After this date, the cancellation policy will apply. Such changes to a booking may only be made in individual cases and if possible; the customer has no right to any changes.

Additionally, as required by law, the company OÖ Touristik GmbH has protection in place to refund your payments and, where transport is included in the package, to ensure your repatriation in the event that it becomes insolvent.
