On the Adige Cycle Path, you start in Nauders and cycle leisurely through the sunny Adige Valley to romantic Verona. Leisure cyclists can look forward to a picturesque route through South Tyrol and Trentino – past glittering glaciers, blossoming orchards and idyllic wine landscapes. Along the way, regional specialities and charming towns invite you to linger. Day 1 - Individual arrival in Nauders
Arrival in Nauders for your cycling holiday. You receive your travel documents at the arrival hotel. If you have booked rental bikes, they will be handed over to you at the handover point.

With a slight incline, your first bike tour starts in the direction of Lake Resia in the municipality of Graun - here you can marvel at the famous church tower that sticks out of the water. The bike tour of the picturesque lake continues to the monastery Marienkron. From here the bike path goes slightly downhill to Laatsch, Glurns and finally to Schlanders.
Example of hotel: Hotel Goldener Löwe in SchlandersDay 3 - From Schlanders/surroundings to Bolzano, approx. 50-70 km
In the Adige Valley you cycle mostly directly beside the river and along a flat to gently downhill cycle path through the vast fruit orchards, with a marvellous panorama on the Mt. Ortler Alps. The cycle path leads you through the charming resorts of South Tyrol and you via Tschirland as well as the Dornsberg Castle. By the health resort Merano and via Andrian your cycle tour leads along flat cycle paths to the Adige/Eisack-estuary, near the massive Castle Sigmundskron. The aim of today's stage is Bolzano.

Today you cycle always along the river to Neumarkt-Auer and to the Salurner Klause (hermitage). Your cycle tour leads to San Michele all'Adige and to the centre of the picturesque old council town of Trento.
Example of hotel: Hotel Everest in TrentoDay 5 - From Trento to Arco/Riva at Lake Garda, approx. 50 km
Enjoy a cycle tour directly through the picturesque vineyards along the Adige cycle path to Rovereto and to the remote small town of Mori. Further the bike tour leads via Lopi and with light gradients to San Giovanni and Torbole. Finally, you come along Lake Garda to Riva/Arco where your today's cycle tour ends.
Example of hotel: Hotel Olivo in ArcoDay 6 - From Riva/Arco to Cavaion Veronese/Affi, approx. 60 km by bike + bus transfer
Today's bike tour starts with a short transfer to San Giovanni (approx. 3 km) from where you continue along a flat to gentle downhill cycle path to San Rocco and afterwards cycle via Belluno-Veronese before you reach after a short gradient on a side road the village of Albaré. You reach today's destination Cavaion Veronese along the cycle path.

Your last day of cycling takes you first on a side road to the Canale Cammuzoni. Along this irrigation system, which is intended for the fortresses of Verona and Mantua, you cycle flat, away from car traffic with very beautiful views over the Adige River to the 1st cyclist lookout tower. Further on the bike path leads to Bussolengo and after about 1.5 km on side roads you reach the center of Verona, where your cycle tour ends.

Parking facilities
For the duration of your cycling trip in Italy, you can leave your car free of charge in an unguarded car park (included, no reservation possible).
Note for people with limited mobility
The cycle tour is not suitable for people with limited mobility. However, in specific cases it is possible to accommodate individual customer requests (e.g. barrier-free room).
Passport and visa requirements
To check in to your hotel you will need a valid passport or ID card.
For citizens of countries outside the Schengen area other regulations may apply. You are responsible for obtaining any visa you may require in good time.
Terms and Conditions of Payment:
The deposit of 10% of the tour price is due at the latest 14 days after receipt of the booking confirmation. The balance must be paid 14 days before arrival.
Cancellation Policy:
According to our General Terms and Conditions, the customer may withdraw from the contract at any time in writing. In the event of cancellation or non-commencement of travel, the following cancellation fees will become payable:
20% of the tour price up to 28 days before arrival date
30% of the tour price from 27th to 14th day before arrival date
50% of the tour price from 13th to 8th day before arrival date
70% of the tour price from 7th to 4th day before arrival date
90% of the tour price from 3rd day before arrival date to the day of arrival
If the customer changes the travel date up to 28 days before departure, we may charge a processing fee. After that, the cancellation conditions apply. Such a rebooking can only be made subject to availability in individual cases; the customer has no right to this.
