This cycling tour will lead you through landscapes of rare beauty, art cities and the largest thermal area in Europe. You cycle along the Adige Valley surrounded by the Dolomites. On your cycling holidays in Italy you cross Lake Garda and then reach Verona. From Vicenza you continue via Padua to the lagoon city of Venice.

Day 1 - Individual arrival in Bolzano
Check-in, in your hotel and you start your cycling holiday in South Tyrol, more precisely in the bilingual city of Bolzano. The city rises along the river Eisack. Your cycling tour in South Tyrol takes you along the Adige cycle path. Passing orchards and vineyards of the lowlands. Halfway between Bolzano and Trento you will come across Salurn, the language border between the German-speaking and Italian-speaking regions of northern Italy. On the Adige cycle path you reach Rovereto, the city with the famous Museum of Contemporary Art. From here it goes westwards to Lake Garda on your bike tour in Italy. After a short climb up to the San Giorgio Pass, from where the breath-taking descent of your cycling holiday begins, giving you a spectacular view of Lake Garda and the city of Torbole. After the gentle hills that surround Lake Garda, you will meet the Adige River again on your bike tour in Italy. You cycle to Verona, one of the most important cities of Veneto. A visit to the Roman arena, the church of San Zeno and the balcony of the famous love scene of Romeo and Juliet are recommendable on your cycling holidays. In the countryside of Verona you start your cycle route in Italy along the foot of the Lessine Mountains, where you reach the castle of Soave in the middle of the vineyards. On the Rocca di Brendola in the Berici Hill your bike tour leads to Vicenza, the little jewel with the buildings of Andrea Palladio, who was one of the most famous architects of the XVI century. If today's cycling tour is too long for you, you can take the train in San Bonifacio to shorten it up. You leave Vicenza and cycle along the River Bacchiglione, where you can admire the beautiful Villa Rotonda, the parade of the Palladio, and Villa Valmarana with the frescoes of Tiepolo. After the village of Montegalda, your bike tour continues towards the Euganean hills, where a relaxing evening awaits you in a resort in one of Europe's largest spa areas. The cycle path in Italy leads along the Brenta Canal, which is lined with enchanting landscapes and magnificent mansions of the Venetian nobility. You continue to Mestre, the mainland of Venice. You can decide, whether you want to spend the last night of your bike trip in Italy directly in Venice for an extra surcharge. In Venice, the city of canals and bridges, it is forbidden to ride or push a bike. You can only ride your bikes to Piazzale Roma or Santa Lucia station. The cycling holiday ends and you return by bus from Mestre to Bolzano.
Parking facilities
If you arrive by car, you can park it in Bolzano for the duration of the tour for € 70 to € 175 per week. Some hotels have a private car park, while in other cases it is necessary to go to other car parks. No reservations are possible in advance and any costs must be paid on the spot. Note for people with limited mobility
The cycle tour is not suitable for people with limited mobility. However, in specific cases it is possible to accommodate individual customer requests (e.g. barrier-free room).
Passport and visa requirements
To check in to your hotel you will need a valid passport or ID card.
For citizens of countries outside the Schengen area other regulations may apply. You are responsible for obtaining any visa you may require in good time.
Terms and Conditions of Payment:
The deposit of 10% of the tour price is due at the latest 14 days after receipt of the booking confirmation. The balance must be paid 14 days before arrival.
Cancellation Policy:
According to our General Terms and Conditions, the customer may withdraw from the contract at any time in writing. In the event of cancellation or non-commencement of travel, the following cancellation fees will become payable:
20% of the tour price up to 30 days before arrival date
25% of the tour price from 29th to 21st day before arrival date
50% of the tour price from 20th to 14th day before arrival date
80% of the tour price from 13th to 6th day before arrival date
100% of the tour price from 5th day before arrival date to the day of arrival or “no show”
If the customer makes changes of the date of travel up to 28 days before departure, we will charge a processing fee of € 50,00 per booking. After this date, the cancellation policy will apply. Such changes to a booking may only be made in individual cases and if possible; the customer has no right to any changes.

This ensures that you will benefit from all EU rights applicable to packages. Company OÖ Touristik GmbH will be fully responsible for the proper performance of the package as a whole.
Additionally, as required by law, the company OÖ Touristik GmbH has protection in place to refund your payments and, where transport is included in the package, to ensure your repatriation in the event that it becomes insolvent.
