Day 1 - Individual arrival to Salzburg

Your cycle tour takes you along the Salzach through idyllic river scenery on the Bavarian-Austrian border. Stop at the famous Silent Night Chapel in Oberndorf before reaching the imposing Tittmoning Castle. A stop at the Jägerstätterhaus in St. Radegund offers a glimpse into the life of the famous resistance fighter. Finally, you arrive in Burghausen, where the picturesque old town and the world's longest castle complex await. The route continues along the River Salzach to its confluence with the River Inn, where an impressive natural spectacle awaits. From the Inn-Salzach viewpoint you can enjoy a sweeping view of the river landscape. Continue your cycling day along the Inn, stopping for a well-earned break and a refreshing wheat beer at a traditional Bavarian inn. Then you reach Braunau. Today's cycle takes you along the River Inn to picturesque Hagenau Bay, an idyllic riverside nature reserve. From there, follow the river Mattig to the pilgrimage church of St Florian, a spiritual place with a long tradition. In Mattighofen, the KTM Motohall offers an exciting insight into the world of motorsport. At lunchtime, we recommend a break with tasty Innviertler dumplings in a traditional inn. Ride along the shores of the lake to Obertrum, where you can visit the traditional brewery. After a leisurely ride through the rolling hills, return to the Salzach. Along the river you can enjoy the tranquil countryside and sweeping views. The last few kilometres take you to the Mozart city of Salzburg, where your tour ends. Round off your day with a stroll through the historic old town! Note for people with limited mobility
The cycle tour is not suitable for people with limited mobility. However, in specific cases it is possible to accommodate individual customer requests (e.g. barrier-free room).
Passport and visa requirements
To check in to your hotel you will need a valid passport or ID card.
For citizens of countries outside the Schengen area other regulations may apply. You are responsible for obtaining any visa you may require in good time.
Terms and Conditions of Payment:
The deposit of 10% of the tour price is due at the latest 14 days after receipt of the booking confirmation. The balance must be paid 14 days before arrival.
Cancellation Policy:
According to our General Terms and Conditions, the customer may withdraw from the contract at any time in writing. In the event of cancellation or non-commencement of travel, the following cancellation fees will become payable:
20% of the tour price up to 28 days before arrival date
30% of the tour price from 27th to 14th day before arrival date
50% of the tour price from 13th to 8th day before arrival date
70% of the tour price from 7th to 4th day before arrival date
90% of the tour price from 3rd day before arrival date to the day of arrival
If the customer makes changes of the date of travel up to 28 days before departure, we will charge a processing fee of € 50,00 per booking. After this date, the cancellation policy will apply. Such changes to a booking may only be made in individual cases and if possible; the customer has no right to any changes.

The combination of travel services offered to you is a package within the meaning of Directive (EU) 2015/2302.
This ensures that you will benefit from all EU rights applicable to packages. Company OÖ Touristik GmbH will be fully responsible for the proper performance of the package as a whole.
Additionally, as required by law, the company OÖ Touristik GmbH has protection in place to refund your payments and, where transport is included in the package, to ensure your repatriation in the event that it becomes insolvent.

Travelers have to contact the liquidator within 8 weeks if they are denied claims due to the insolvency of OÖ Touristik GmbH. Details on the business license of OÖ Touristik GmbH can be found on the website https://www.gisa.gv.at/abfrage under the GISA number 14930096.
