Day 1 - Individual journey to Stockholm
Individual arrival for your cycling holiday in Sweden. Use the first day of your trip to explore Stockholm at your leisure. Stroll through the charming old town of Gamla Stan, wander along the waterfront promenades, or enjoy the view over the sparkling waters of the archipelago. A perfect start to your cycling holiday!

The first stage of your cycling holiday through southern Sweden takes you along an old trade route that was already in use during the Viking Age. The route leads you along the shores of Lake Mälaren, Sweden's third largest lake, through a wonderfully varied landscape. A special highlight awaits you on the island of Lovön: the magnificent Drottningholm Palace, residence of the Swedish royal family and part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site. The Chinese Pavilion and the Baroque Palace Theater are particularly worth seeing. You then take the ferry to Södertälje and enjoy the last few kilometers through gently rolling fields and quiet forests. A perfect end to your first day of cycling.

You route today takes you along quiet side roads to the impressive Gripsholm Castle. The castle is not only an important landmark of the Swedish royal family, but also well known in literature: Kurt Tucholsky, who lived in exile in Sweden and found his final resting place in nearby Mariefred, dedicated his famous novel to it.

You cycle through the unspoiled natural landscapes of Sörmland, characterized by numerous lakes and rivers that were once created by geological faults and subsidence. Your destination for the day is the charming small town of Järna, an internationally renowned center of anthroposophy. Here you will find biodynamic gardens, unique architecture, and a distinctive cultural flair that makes the region so distinctive.

On the fifth day of your cycling tour around Stockholm, you will saddle up and head for the picturesque Baltic Sea town of Trosa. This charming town has served as the backdrop for many popular Inga Lindström films. A visit to one of Trosa's small, cozy restaurants is highly recommended, where you can enjoy delicious specialties such as crayfish, salmon, or smoked fish—a real treat for all foodies!

Head back north, and after a short ferry ride, you will reach another of Stockholm's archipelago islands. Tip: Take the S-train to the city center and spend the afternoon exploring Södermalm, the southern city island, on the beautiful, flat bike paths along the water. In the evening, one of the island's many cozy restaurants invites you to relax and end the day. Enjoy your last night in the lively and charming Swedish capital!

Parking facilities:
You can park your car in the hotel garage from approx. SEK 310 (approx. € 30,00) per day. Reservation not possible, payable on site. Public parking costs approx. € 35,00 per day.
Note for people with limited mobility
The cycle tour is not suitable for people with limited mobility. However, in specific cases it is possible to accommodate individual customer requests (e.g. barrier-free room).
Passport and visa requirements
To check in to your hotel you will need a valid passport or ID card.
For citizens of countries outside the Schengen area other regulations may apply. You are responsible for obtaining any visa you may require in good time.
Terms and Conditions of Payment:
The deposit of 10% of the tour price is due at the latest 14 days after receipt of the booking confirmation. The balance must be paid 14 days before arrival.
Cancellation Policy:
According to our General Terms and Conditions, the customer may withdraw from the contract at any time in writing. In the event of cancellation or non-commencement of travel, the following cancellation fees will become payable:
20% of the tour price up to 28 days before arrival date
30% of the tour price from 27th to 14th day before arrival date
50% of the tour price from 13th to 8th day before arrival date
70% of the tour price from 7th to 4th day before arrival date
100% of the tour price from 3rd day before arrival date to the day of arrival
If the customer makes changes of the date of travel up to 28 days before departure, we will charge a processing fee of € 50,00 per booking. After this date, the cancellation policy will apply. Such changes to a booking may only be made in individual cases and if possible; the customer has no right to any changes.

This ensures that you will benefit from all EU rights applicable to packages. Company OÖ Touristik GmbH will be fully responsible for the proper performance of the package as a whole.
Additionally, as required by law, the company OÖ Touristik GmbH has protection in place to refund your payments and, where transport is included in the package, to ensure your repatriation in the event that it becomes insolvent.
