This varied cycle tour along the Baltic Sea Cycle Route from Lübeck to Stralsund combines impressive nature with maritime history. Along the German Baltic Sea coast, you will cycle through historic Hanseatic towns, well-known Baltic Sea resorts and the unique landscape of the Vorpommern Bodden landscape.
Look forward to relaxed stages with sea views, miles of sandy beaches, idyllic coastal towns and highlights such as Wismar, Kühlungsborn, Heiligendamm and Rostock. Day 1 - Individual arrival in Lübeck
Individual arrival in the charming Hanseatic city of Lübeck, which is one of the most beautiful cities in northern Germany with its UNESCO-protected old town. Stroll through winding streets, admire the famous Holsten Gate, and discover impressive brick churches and museums. Enjoy the first evening of your cycle tour in a cosy restaurant with regional specialities such as fresh fish or Lübeck marzipan.

Today your cycle tour along the Baltic Sea coast begins. From Lübeck you can get to Travemünde, either by train (on your own, approx. -20 km) or actively by bike along the Trave. From Travemünde you take the ferry (on your own) to Priwall. Afterwards you cycle along the coast to the popular Baltic Sea resort of Boltenhagen, where it is worth taking a break on the beach promenade or pier. The route continues to the Bay of Wismar and finally to the historic Hanseatic city of Wismar, whose old town is also a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Today you can expect a particularly varied stage along the coast. You first cycle along the Salzhaff to Rerik and on towards Kühlungsborn. A worthwhile detour leads to the Bastorf lighthouse, from where you can enjoy a spectacular view over the Baltic Sea. On a clear day, the view even extends as far as the island of Fehmarn. Other highlights of the stage are Heiligendamm (the oldest seaside resort in Germany), the impressive Doberan Minster and the mystical ghost forest near Nienhagen with a view over the cliffs.

With the Warnow ferry (included) you cross over to Hohe Düne and start your next cycling stage. A special stop is worthwhile at the Ribnitz-Damgarten Amber Museum, where you can learn everything about the 'Gold of the Baltic Sea'. Nearby, a show beekeeping invites you to discover more about honey production and regional specialties. Afterwards, your tour will take you back towards the Baltic Sea to your hotel on Fischland-Darß-Zingst or to Ribnitz-Damgarten.

Today you will experience one of the most beautiful sections of the Baltic Sea Cycle Path. Your route leads through parts of the Vorpommersche Boddenlandschaft National Park, a unique coastal landscape of lagoons, dunes and forests. Enjoy the untouched nature, wide beaches and the special tranquility of this region. Typical thatched houses and small fishing villages characterize the picture.

From the small Bodden town of Barth, also known as 'Vineta City', you cycle along the Bodden coast towards Strelasund. Your destination is the UNESCO World Heritage city of Stralsund, which impresses with its historic old town. Particularly worth seeing are the modern OZEANEUM, the imposing St. Mary's Church and the colourful gabled houses on the Old Market Square Enjoy the last evening of your Baltic Sea cycle tour in a maritime atmosphere.

After breakfast, your eventful pleasure bike tour along the Baltic Sea ends. Individual departure or extension of your stay in Stralsund. Return transfer from Stralsund to Lübeck can be booked additionally. Prices see price table.

Note for people with limited mobility
The cycle tour is not suitable for people with limited mobility. However, in specific cases it is possible to accommodate individual customer requests (e.g. barrier-free room).
Passport and visa requirements
To check in to your hotel you will need a valid passport or ID card.
For citizens of countries outside the Schengen area other regulations may apply. You are responsible for obtaining any visa you may require in good time.
Terms and Conditions of Payment:
The deposit of 10% of the tour price is due at the latest 14 days after receipt of the booking confirmation. The balance must be paid 14 days before arrival.
Cancellation Policy:
According to our General Terms and Conditions, the customer may withdraw from the contract at any time in writing. In the event of cancellation or non-commencement of travel, the following cancellation fees will become payable:
20% of the tour price up to the 28th day before departure
30% of the tour price from 27th to 21st day before departure
60% of the tour price from the 20th to the 7th day before departure
80% of the tour price from 6th to 1st day before departure
90% of the tour price from the day of arrival
If the customer makes changes of the date of travel up to 28 days before departure, we will charge a processing fee of € 50,00 per booking. After this date, the cancellation policy will apply. Such changes to a booking may only be made in individual cases and if possible; the customer has no right to any changes.

Parking facilities
You can travel to Lübeck by train or car.
You can park your car at the hotel in Lübeck (approx. € 15,00 to € 22,00 per day) or in a public car park/underground car park for approx. € 10,00 to € 15,00 per day. There are also parking spaces available at the train station for approx. € 5,00 per day.
