  • Day 1 - Individual arrival in Stralsund

    Your cycling holiday to the North Sea begins with your individual journey to one of the charming coastal towns. Between historic old towns, maritime harbour facilities and the fresh sea breeze, you will immediately feel the special atmosphere.

  • Day 2 - From Stralsund via Hiddensee to Wittow, approx. 20-60 km + ferry ride

    Your cycling holiday on the North Sea begins in the morning with a leisurely boat trip. You will arrive at a car-free island that is perfect for cycling and exploring. From the lighthouse, you can enjoy sweeping views of the sea, dunes and coastline – a panorama that conveys peace and tranquillity. During the day, there is time for relaxed cycling and walking trails. In the afternoon, you will take the ferry and continue cycling leisurely along the coast. Short tours will take you to scenic highlights and charming places before you end the day with regional specialities. You will spend the night in a traditional coastal village. This cycling holiday combines nature, culture and cuisine into a special experience for connoisseurs.

  • Day 3 - From Wittow to Bergen/surroundings, approx. 55 km

    Cycle leisurely along the long beach at Schaabe and reach Jasmund National Park. Impressive views await you on your cycling tour in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania: the famous chalk cliffs with the Königsstuhl and the island's vast forests. Depending on your preference, you can follow the Baltic Sea Cycle Route through the centre of the island to Bergen or choose the shorter route via Glowe and Sagard. This makes your cycling holiday on the North Sea the perfect combination of exercise, nature and enjoyment.

  • Day 4 - From Bergen/surroundings to Greifswald/surroundings, approx. 45-50 km

    If you wish, you can take a detour to the former royal seat of Putbus with its circus, orangery and classical theatre. Then continue via Garz to the Glewitz ferry (included). After the crossing, you can enjoy a leisurely cycle ride through shady avenues or along quiet riverside paths to Greifswald – a stage full of nature, tranquillity and cultural impressions.

  • Day 5 - From Greifswald/surroundings to Kaiserbäder (Emperor‘s Baths), approx. 55 km + train ride

    In the morning, you will take the train (included) from Greifswald to Anklam, the birthplace of Otto Lilienthal. A beautiful cycle tour awaits you on the Baltic Sea Cycle Route across the Peenestrom to the Karnin railway lift bridge, a technical monument. You will continue your cycle tour in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania to the small town of Usedom. The route continues along secluded cycle paths to the imperial seaside resorts of Ahlbeck, Heringsdorf and Bansin.

  • Day 6 - From Kaiserbäder (Emperor's Baths) to North Usedom, approx. 20-45 km

    The imperial seaside resorts, with their unrivalled splendour in terms of resort architecture on the German Baltic Sea coast, await you on today's cycle tour in northern Germany. Along the wooded cliffs, always close to the miles of sandy beaches, you will cycle from seaside resort to seaside resort in the north of the island.

  • Day 7 - From North Usedom via Greifswald to Stralsund, approx. 40-60 km + train ride

    Today, your cycle tour takes you via Wolgast or, alternatively, via Peenemünde along the Bodden coast through pine forests, coastal groves and cliffs (3-6 metres high) to Greifswald. You conclude your cycling holiday in Germany with a train journey to Stralsund.

Parking facilities
You can park your car in the car park at the InterCity Hotel in Stralsund for approximately € 60,00 per week (subject to availability, advance booking not possible, payable on site). There are also hotel parking spaces available for approximately € 10,00 to € 17,00 per day (subject to availability, advance booking not possible, payable on site).

Note for people with limited mobility
The cycle tour is not suitable for people with limited mobility. However, in specific cases it is possible to accommodate individual customer requests (e.g. barrier-free room).

Passport and visa requirements
To check in to your hotel you will need a valid passport or ID card.
For citizens of countries outside the Schengen area other regulations may apply. You are responsible for obtaining any visa you may require in good time.

Terms and Conditions of Payment:
The deposit of 10% of the tour price is due at the latest 14 days after receipt of the booking confirmation. The balance must be paid 14 days before arrival.

Cancellation Policy:
According to our General Terms and Conditions, the customer may withdraw from the contract at any time in writing. In the event of cancellation or non-commencement of travel, the following cancellation fees will become payable:
20% of the tour price up to the 28th day before departure
30% of the tour price from 27th to 21st day before departure
60% of the tour price from the 20th to the 7th day before departure
80% of the tour price from 6th to 1st day before departure
90% of the tour price on the arrival day

If the customer makes changes of the date of travel up to 30 days before departure, we will charge a processing fee of € 50,00 per booking. After this date, the cancellation policy will apply. Such changes to a booking may only be made in individual cases and if possible; the customer has no right to any changes.
