Day 1 - Individual arrival in Perth
Arrive in Perth, the historic heart of Scotland, at your own pace. Spend the afternoon strolling along the River Tay, exploring the old town, or climbing Kinnoull Hill for stunning views over the Tay Valley. In the evening (around 7 pm), the bikes will be handed over and the route briefing will take place at your accommodation.

Before leaving Perth, it's worth visiting Scone Palace and Huntingtower Castle. Afterwards, enjoy an easy cycle through the peaceful countryside to the small town of Crieff. Don't miss the chance to visit the award-winning visitor centre at Glenturret Distillery.

As you leave Crieff, it's worth stopping for a tour of the Stuart Crystal Factory. Then follow the valley of the River Earn, pass through Comrie, and cycle along a lovely quiet road on the south shore of Loch Earn to reach the small lakeside village of Lochearnhead.

Cycle south through Strathyre, visit the grave of Rob Roy MacGregor in Balquhidder, and then follow the river to the small village of Strathyre. From there, continue through Strathyre Forest on a scenic route past Loch Lubnaig to Callander.

An early start along the south shore of Loch Venachar takes you to Loch Katrine for a cruise on the steamship SS Sir Walter Scott. Disembark at Stronachlacher Pier and then cycle through the forest to Aberfoyle. As a longer alternative, you can skip the cruise and cycle around Loch Katrine instead.

Five miles east of Aberfoyle lies the Lake of Mentieth with the ruins of Inchmahome Priory, once a refuge for famous figures such as Mary Queen of Scots. Continue to Doune Castle, with a stop in Dunblane to visit the cathedral, before cycling on to Stirling. The impressive Stirling Castle dominates the skyline of this historic town. A scenic alternative route leads via Gartness, past the Gargunnock and Fintry Hills, and through the Carron Valley to Stirling.

Stirling is Scotland's youngest city and at the same time one of its most historically significant. On your rest day, you can explore numerous attractions: the impressive Stirling Castle, the historic Bannockburn battlefield, the National Wallace Monument, and the Church of the Holy Rude – all iconic landmarks of Scotland's royal and often turbulent past.

Your cycling tour ends after breakfast. It is possible to extend your stay in Scotland with extra night.

Note for people with limited mobility
The cycle tour is not suitable for people with limited mobility. However, in specific cases it is possible to accommodate individual customer requests (e.g. barrier-free room).
Passport and visa requirements
To check in to your hotel you will need a valid passport or ID card.
For citizens of countries outside the Schengen area other regulations may apply. You are responsible for obtaining any visa you may require in good time.
Terms and Conditions of Payment:
The deposit of 10% of the tour price is due at the latest 14 days after receipt of the booking confirmation. The balance must be paid 14 days before arrival.
Cancellation Policy:
According to our General Terms and Conditions, the customer may withdraw from the contract at any time in writing. In the event of cancellation or non-commencement of travel, the following cancellation fees will become payable:
25% of the tour price up to the 42nd day before departure
40% of the tour price from 41st to 21st day before departure
60% of the tour price from the 20th to the 14th day before departure
100% of the tour price from the 13rd day before departure until the day of arrival
