Experience an impressive cycle tour through the heart of the Scottish Highlands: from Inverness along the legendary Loch Ness to Fort William, the route leads along quiet paths, canal paths and forest trails - always accompanied by magnificent views of mountains, lochs and, with a bit of luck, even red deer or golden eagles. After an eventful rest day in Fort William, you take the scenic railway across the wild Rannoch Moor to Rannoch Station. From there you cycle on through picturesque lakeland scenery to Pitlochry, where Victorian charm, a whisky distillery, the famous Fish Ladder and the historic Blair Castle round off your journey perfectly.
