On your cycle tour, you will discover charming wine villages such as Bernkastel-Kues, Traben-Trarbach and Cochem. A visit to the impressive Eltz Castle rounds off your trip, while you enjoy the romantic landscape and idyllic Moselle loops during your Moselle cycling holiday.

Day 1 - Individual arrival in Trier
Your Moselle cycle tour begins in the historic city of Trier, Germany's oldest city. Take time to stroll through the historic old town and admire the world-famous Porta Nigra. At the end of the day, enjoy a glass of regional Riesling in a cosy wine bar on the Moselle and let the evening come to a pleasant close.

Along the Moselle Cycle Route, you cycle past the historic ferry tower from Schweich to Mehring, where the remains of the Roman Villa Rustica offer fascinating insights into the past. The route continues through idyllic wine-growing landscapes to Trittenheim, where you can enjoy a magnificent panoramic view of the Moselle valley.

In the morning, you will cycle along the Moselle Cycle Path to Neumagen-Dhron, Germany's oldest wine-growing village. For your lunch break during the Moselle cycle tour, we recommend stopping at the picturesque market square in Bernkastel-Kues, where you can enjoy regional specialities and Moselle wines in a cosy restaurant.

Today's stage on the Moselle Cycle Route takes you through the famous Kröver Nacktarsch wine-growing region to Traben-Trarbach, a charming Art Nouveau town on the Moselle. From there, you cycle on to the impressive Zeller Hamm Moselle loop, where an optional boat trip on the Moselle is particularly worthwhile. Passing beautiful half-timbered houses, you finally reach Enkirch before arriving at today's destination, Zell – surrounded by vineyards and characterised by genuine Moselle romance.

From Beilstein, the charming ‘Rothenburg on the Moselle', your cycle tour takes you along the idyllic Moselle to Cochem. The historic town centre with its half-timbered houses and the imposing 11th-century imperial castle are highlights of your trip. A visit to the historic mustard mill is a special experience, where you can learn all about the traditional production of the famous Moselle mustard – a culinary highlight of your cycling holiday in Germany.

After visiting the imposing Eltz Castle, cycle the last few kilometres downstream on the Moselle Cycle Route to Koblenz. There, we recommend taking a panoramic boat trip, where you can admire the city's sights and the famous Deutsches Eck from the water – the perfect end to your Moselle cycle tour.

Return from your cycling holidays by train or by bus from Koblenz to Trier (daily from 9 am, duration approx. 2hrs, please see rates below for more details).

Parking possibilities
Some of the hotels have their own parking facilities directly on the premises, which are either free of charge or subject to a charge (between € 5.00 and € 20.00 per day or night). In the immediate vicinity there are public parking garages or parking lots (free of charge or for a fee).
Note for people with limited mobility
The cycle tour is not suitable for people with limited mobility. However, in specific cases it is possible to accommodate individual customer requests (e.g. barrier-free room).
Passport and visa requirements
To check in to your hotel you will need a valid passport or ID card.
For citizens of countries outside the Schengen area other regulations may apply. You are responsible for obtaining any visa you may require in good time.
Terms and Conditions of Payment:
The deposit of 10% of the tour price is due at the latest 14 days after receipt of the booking confirmation. The balance must be paid 14 days before arrival.
Cancellation Policy:
According to our General Terms and Conditions, the customer may withdraw from the contract at any time in writing. In the event of cancellation or non-commencement of travel, the following cancellation fees will become payable:
20% of the tour price up to the 28th day before departure
30% of the tour price from 27th to 14th day before departure
50% of the tour price from the 13th to the 8th day before departure
70% of the tour price from 7th to 4th day before departure
90% of the tour price from the 3rd day before departure until the day of arrival
If the customer makes changes of the date of travel up to 28 days before departure, we will charge a processing fee of € 50,00 per booking. After this date, the cancellation policy will apply. Such changes to a booking may only be made in individual cases and if possible; the customer has no right to any changes.

In case of a booking your announced data will be only used from OÖ Touristik GmbH for the process of bookings and related transactions and will be passed on only in the context of the contractual relationship to third parties. The combination of travel services offered to you is a package within the meaning of Directive (EU) 2015/2302.
This ensures that you will benefit from all EU rights applicable to packages. OÖ Touristik GmbH will be fully responsible for the proper performance of the package.
As per law in the event of insolvency of OÖ Touristik GmbH the company refunds payments already made and additionally takes care of return transport, if originally included.

The liquidator is the Europäische Reiseversicherung AG, Kratochwjlestraße 4, 1220 Wien, Email: info@europaeische.at, 24-hour emergency number: +43 1 3172500.
Travelers have to contact the liquidator within 8 weeks if they are denied claims due to the insolvency of OÖ Touristik GmbH. Details on the business license of OÖ Touristik GmbH can be found on the website https://www.gisa.gv.at/abfrage under the GISA number 14930096.
