Day 1 - Individual arrival in Trier
You begin with your cycling tour along the Moselle cycling path in Trier. Plan some spare time exploring this beautiful town with its oldest and best conserved Roman gate the ‘Porta Nigra`. On the Moselle cycle path you cycle past the old ferry tower from Schweich to Mehring. Marvel at the ruins of Villa Rustica before you reach Trittheim. In the morning, the cycle tour along the Moselle cycle path takes you to Neumagen-Dhron, Germany's oldest wine village. For the lunch break of your bike trip in Germany we recommend a stop at a restaurant on the market place of Bernkastel-Kues. You cycle through the 'Kröver Nacktarsch' wine region along the Moselle cycle path to Traben-Trarbach. From Traben-Trarbach you reach the Moselle loop “Zeller Hamm”. Complement your bike tour with a boat trip on the Moselle. Soon you will reach Enkirch, the jewel of Moselle half-timbered architecture. The cycle tour on the Moselle-Cycle Path ends today in Zell. After breakfast your cycle route leads via Beilstein, the so-called ”Rothenburg of River Moselle”, to Cochem, with the picturesque center and the 11th century old Castle Reichsburg. Return from your cycling holidays by train or by bus from Koblenz to Trier (daily from 9 am, duration approx. 2hrs, please see rates below for more details).
Parking possibilities
During your cycling holidays you can park your car at the hotel, approx. EUR 10,00 – EUR 30,00 per day or night. Next to the hotels there are also a few public garages and parking spaces.
Security for your booking:
As a tour operator, the safety, well-being and health of our customers are top priorities for us. We are constantly monitoring the current situation and are in close contact with official authorities. In the event of travel changes, we will inform you immediately. If an official travel warning is issued on your arrival date for your destination or your home town, you can of course cancel your trip free of charge or change your booking to another date.
Note for people with limited mobility
The cycle tour is not suitable for people with limited mobility. However, in specific cases it is possible to accommodate individual customer requests (e.g. barrier-free room).
Passport and visa requirements
To check in to your hotel you will need a valid passport or ID card.
For citizens of countries outside the Schengen area other regulations may apply. You are responsible for obtaining any visa you may require in good time.
Terms and Conditions of Payment:
The deposit of 10% of the tour price is due at the latest 14 days after receipt of the booking confirmation. The balance must be paid 14 days before arrival.
Cancellation Policy:
According to our General Terms and Conditions, the customer may withdraw from the contract at any time in writing. In the event of cancellation or non-commencement of travel, the following cancellation fees will become payable:
20% of the tour price up to the 28th day before departure
30% of the tour price from 27th to 14th day before departure
50% of the tour price from the 13th to the 8th day before departure
70% of the tour price from 7th to 4th day before departure
90% of the tour price from the 3rd day before departure until the day of arrival
If the customer makes changes of the date of travel up to 28 days before departure, we will charge a processing fee of € 55,00 per booking. After this date, the cancellation policy will apply. Such changes to a booking may only be made in individual cases and if possible; the customer has no right to any changes.

In case of a booking your announced data will be only used from OÖ Touristik GmbH for the process of bookings and related transactions and will be passed on only in the context of the contractual relationship to third parties. The combination of travel services offered to you is a package within the meaning of Directive (EU) 2015/2302.
This ensures that you will benefit from all EU rights applicable to packages. OÖ Touristik GmbH will be fully responsible for the proper performance of the package.
As per law in the event of insolvency of OÖ Touristik GmbH the company refunds payments already made and additionally takes care of return transport, if originally included.

The liquidator is the Europäische Reiseversicherung AG, Kratochwjlestraße 4, 1220 Wien, Email: info@europaeische.at, 24-hour emergency number: +43 1 3172500.
Travelers have to contact the liquidator within 8 weeks if they are denied claims due to the insolvency of OÖ Touristik GmbH. Details on the business license of OÖ Touristik GmbH can be found on the website https://www.gisa.gv.at/abfrage under the GISA number 14930096.
