Day 1 - Individual arrival in Lisbon
On your arrival day, explore the highlights of Lisbon, stroll along the lively banks of the Tagus River and enjoy the warm Portuguese hospitality.

A beautiful cycle path takes you along the Tagus River to the harbour. After a short ferry ride, you will reach Seixal and start your tour. On the peninsula, you continue south through the Arrábida Natural Park with its impressive rock formations. Again and again, breathtaking views of the coast and idyllic bathing bays open up. Your destination for the day is Setúbal, where the Lisbon nobility built magnificent palaces and country houses as early as the 16th century.

In the morning, take the ferry through the nature reserve at the Sado estuary – with a bit of luck, you may see dolphins. The day's stage begins on the Troia Peninsula with its extensive beaches and surprising landscapes, including unusual rice fields. Your route continues past sandy beaches, colourful flower fields and lush green vineyards. Charming villages with whitewashed houses are typical of the region. In Sines, the promenade, the castle and the relaxed city life invite you to take a break.

The Costa Vicentina Nature Park is one of the most unspoilt stretches of coastline in Europe and offers breathtaking views of the Atlantic Ocean. A special highlight awaits you on the last leg of your cycling tour in Portugal. You will cycle through the impressive coastal landscape to Cape St. Vincent, the southwestern most point of Europe, with its famous lighthouse – a perfect place for a selfie and the ‘last bratwurst before America'. Just a few kilometres later, you will reach Sagres, your last overnight stop in the Algarve. The town captivates visitors with its rich cultural heritage, towering cliffs and idyllic sandy beaches – an unforgettable end to your cycling holiday in Portugal.

Note for people with limited mobility
The cycle tour is not suitable for people with limited mobility. However, in specific cases it is possible to accommodate individual customer requests (e.g. barrier-free room).
Passport and visa requirements
To check in to your hotel you will need a valid passport or ID card.
For citizens of countries outside the Schengen area other regulations may apply. You are responsible for obtaining any visa you may require in good time.
Terms and Conditions of Payment:
The deposit of 10% of the tour price is due at the latest 14 days after receipt of the booking confirmation. The balance must be paid 14 days before arrival.
Cancellation Policy:
According to our General Terms and Conditions, the customer may withdraw from the contract at any time in writing. In the event of cancellation or non-commencement of travel, the following cancellation fees will become payable:
20% of the tour price up to 28 days before arrival date
30% of the tour price from 27th to 14th day before arrival date
50% of the tour price from 13th to 8th day before arrival date
70% of the tour price from 7th to 4th day before arrival date
90% of the tour price from 3rd to the day of arrival
If the customer makes changes of the date of travel up to 28 days before departure, we will charge a processing fee of € 50,00 per booking. After this date, the cancellation policy will apply. Such changes to a booking may only be made in individual cases and if possible; the customer has no right to any changes.

This ensures that you will benefit from all EU rights applicable to packages. Company OÖ Touristik GmbH will be fully responsible for the proper performance of the package as a whole.
Additionally, as required by law, the company OÖ Touristik GmbH has protection in place to refund your payments and, where transport is included in the package, to ensure your repatriation in the event that it becomes insolvent.
