The only difference is that you have eight days to discover the charming towns, idyllic villages and impressive landscape of Friesland at your leisure.

Day 1 - Individual arrival in Leeuwarden
Your cycling tour in Holland begins in Leeuwarden, the lively capital of Friesland. In the historic old town, small canals, cosy shopping streets and magnificent buildings such as the late Gothic chancellery invite you to explore. The city also has a lot to offer culturally: the Natural History Museum and the Princessehof Ceramics Museum are among the highlights. Use your arrival day to enjoy Leeuwarden at your leisure before setting off on your leisurely cycle tour through Friesland the next morning.

The first stage of your cycling tour in Friesland takes you to Sneek, a charming town that used to be surrounded by canals and fortified walls. Today, Sneek delights visitors with its cosy centre, historic town hall and impressive Martini Church – ideal places for a relaxing break on your cycling tour through Holland.

Today, you will cycle through the smallest town on the Eleven Cities Route, charming Sloten, with only around 700 inhabitants. Along the way, places such as Harich, Balk and Wijckel invite you to stop off – cosy villages not far from the Ijsselmeer, which invite you to linger with their relaxed atmosphere and Frisian charm.

On your cycle tour in Holland, you will follow in the footsteps of the old Hanseatic League and pass through the historic towns of Stavoren and Workum. While Stavoren is now a popular meeting place for water sports enthusiasts, Workum impresses with its Frisian charm and lively history. Your destination is Bolsward, one of the most beautiful towns in Friesland, which invites you to linger with its picturesque streets, atmospheric squares and cosy atmosphere.

Today, your cycle tour through Friesland takes you past Makkum, an idyllic village known for its traditional pottery. You continue along picturesque paths to Harlingen on the Wadden Sea, where you can enjoy your overnight stay and experience the special coastal atmosphere.

Today's cycle tour in Friesland takes you to the charming town of Dokkum. The “Bonifatiusstadt” (Boniface Town), impresses with its Boniface Church and Boniface Chapel, as well as its carefully maintained architectural heritage. On the way, you will cycle through Franeker, a historic university town whose cultural flair invites you to stop for a short break.

On the last day of your cycling holiday in Holland, you will cycle back to Leeuwarden. On the way, it is worth visiting the cosy villages of Rinsumageest and Burdaard, which invite you to take a relaxing break with their Frisian charm and quiet streets. Your cycling holiday ends in Leeuwarden, where you can explore the lively old town once again.

Free parking at the arrival hotel on request. (please indicate when booking). Reservation is not possible.
Note for people with limited mobility
The cycle tour is not suitable for people with limited mobility. However, in specific cases it is possible to accommodate individual customer requests (e.g. barrier-free room).
Passport and visa requirements
To check in to your hotel you will need a valid passport or ID card.
For citizens of countries outside the Schengen area other regulations may apply. You are responsible for obtaining any visa you may require in good time.
Terms and Conditions of Payment:
The deposit of 10% of the tour price is due at the latest 14 days after receipt of the booking confirmation. The balance must be paid 14 days before arrival.
Cancellation Policy:
According to our General Terms and Conditions, the customer may withdraw from the contract at any time in writing. In the event of cancellation or non-commencement of travel, the following cancellation fees will become payable:
20% of the tour price up to 28 days before arrival date
30% of the tour price from 27th to 14th day before arrival date
50% of the tour price from 13th to 8th day before arrival date
70% of the tour price from 7th to 4th day before arrival date
90% of the tour price from 3rd day before arrival date to the day of arrival
If the customer makes changes of the date of travel up to 28 days before departure, we will charge a processing fee of € 50,00 per booking. After this date, the cancellation policy will apply. Such changes to a booking may only be made in individual cases and if possible; the customer has no right to any changes.
