Day 1 - Individual arrival in Constance
Arrival in Constance for your cycling holiday around Lake Constance. Take the opportunity to explore the winding alleyways of the old town or visit the Rosgarten Museum, where you will feel as if you have been transported back to the Middle Ages.Day 2 - From Constance to the Stein am Rhein region, approx. 30-40 km
The first cycle tour on the Lake Constance cycle path takes you along the Untersee through picturesque villages until you reach the medieval town of Stein am Rhein. We recommend visiting the Lindwurm Museum before cycling to Gailingen.Day 3 - Day Trip to the Rhine Falls, approx. 40-50 km
On today's day of your cycle tour on Lake Constance, you will cycle to Schaffhausen. The town is famous for its medieval facades and magnificent bay windows. The Rhine Cycle Path takes you on to the Rhine Falls, which at 23 metres high and 150 metres wide is one of the largest waterfalls in Europe. You then cycle back to the Stein am Rhein region.Day 4 - From the Stein am Rhein region to Radolfzell/Bodman, approx. 35-50 km
Today you can explore the Höri peninsula. This is located between Stein am Rhein and Radolfzell. The peninsula is also known as the ‘artists' landscape'. Round off your fourth day of cycling with a stroll through the old town.Day 5 - From Radolfzell/Bodman to Friedrichshafen, approx. 40-60 km
Your cycle tour on Lake Constance today takes you to the picturesque town of Sipplingen and the Birnau monastery church. You can take a short break in Unteruhldingen and visit the Lake Dwelling Museum. The Lake Constance cycle path continues to Meersburg until you reach Friedrichshafen along the lake.Day 6 - From Friedrichshafen to Höchst/Lustenau/Dornbirn/Bregenz, approx. 35-45 km
On day 6 of your cycle tour, you cycle to the Lake Constance metropolis of Lindau. Visit the old town with its impressive lighthouses. You then cycle on to Bregenz. Cycle through the nature reserve of the Rhine delta to your overnight destination today.Day 7 - From Höchst/Lustenau/Dornbirn/Bregenz to Constance, approx. 55-65 km
The last day of your cycle tour on Lake Constance takes you to Switzerland. You cycle through the Rhine delta to Thurgau. On your way to Constance, you will be accompanied by marvellous views of Lake Constance and the impressive foothills of the Alps. You can shorten the route by 21 kilometres by taking the train from Romanshorn to Constance (not included).Day 8 - Individual departure or extra nights
Parking facilities
You can leave your car for your cycling vacation at Lake Constance either at the starting hotel (depending on availability, payable on site) or on free parking spaces on public roads. Furthermore, there is a fenced and locked private parking space for approx. € 60,00 per stay and car (depending on availability, payable on site).
Note for people with limited mobility
The cycle tour is not suitable for people with limited mobility. However, in specific cases it is possible to accommodate individual customer requests (e.g. barrier-free room).
Passport and visa requirements
To check in to your hotel you will need a valid passport or ID card.
For citizens of countries outside the Schengen area other regulations may apply. You are responsible for obtaining any visa you may require in good time.
Terms and Conditions of Payment:
The deposit of 10% of the tour price is due at the latest 14 days after receipt of the booking confirmation. The balance must be paid 14 days before arrival.
Cancellation Policy:
According to our General Terms and Conditions, the customer may withdraw from the contract at any time in writing. In the event of cancellation or non-commencement of travel, the following cancellation fees will become payable:
20% of the tour price up to the 28th day before departure
30% of the tour price from 27th to 14th day before departure
50% of the tour price from the 13th to the 8th day before departure
70% of the tour price from 7th to 4th day before departure
90% of the tour price from the 3rd day before departure until the day of arrival
If the customer makes changes of the date of travel up to 28 days before departure, we will charge a processing fee of € 55,00 per booking. After this date, the cancellation policy will apply. Such changes to a booking may only be made in individual cases and if possible; the customer has no right to any changes.

In case of a booking your announced data will be only used from OÖ Touristik GmbH for the process of bookings and related transactions and will be passed on only in the context of the contractual relationship to third parties. The combination of travel services offered to you is a package within the meaning of Directive (EU) 2015/2302.
This ensures that you will benefit from all EU rights applicable to packages. OÖ Touristik GmbH will be fully responsible for the proper performance of the package.
As per law in the event of insolvency of OÖ Touristik GmbH the company refunds payments already made and additionally takes care of return transport, if originally included.

The tour operator OÖ Touristik GmbH, Freistädter Str. 119, 4041 Linz has completed a bankruptcy insurance with Raiffeisen Landesbank Oberösterreich AG, Europaplatz 1a, 4020 Linz. The liquidator is the Europäische Reiseversicherung AG, Kratochwjlestraße 4, 1220 Wien, Email: info@europaeische.at, 24-hour emergency number: +43 1 3172500.
Travelers have to contact the liquidator within 8 weeks if they are denied claims due to the insolvency of OÖ Touristik GmbH. Details on the business license of OÖ Touristik GmbH can be found on the website https://www.gisa.gv.at/abfrage under the GISA number 14930096.
