  • Day 1 - Individual arrival in Constance

    Individual arrival in Constance for your cycling holiday around Lake Constance. Take the opportunity to visit Mainau Island at the start of your cycling holiday. The old town of Constance and the State Archaeological Museum are also definitely worth a visit during your holiday.

  • Day 2 - From Constance to the Stein am Rhein region, approx. 30-40 km

    Your cycle tour along Lake Constance takes you to picturesque Gottlieben, where you cross the border into Switzerland. It's worth stopping at the Gottlieber Manufaktur shop to enjoy some fine chocolate specialities. You continue cycling along the Upper Rhine via Stein am Rhein to Gailingen. A particular highlight is crossing the Rhine via the historic wooden bridge dating from 1816.

  • Day 3 - Day Trip to the Rhine Falls, approx. 40-50 km

    Today another highlight of your cycling tour in Germany and Switzerland awaits you: the Munot town of Schaffhausen with its medieval facades and characteristic bay windows. You will then reach the impressive Rhine Falls, one of the largest waterfalls in Europe, with a height of 23 metres and a width of 150 metres. An unforgettable natural spectacle during your cycling holiday on Lake Constance.

  • Day 4 - From the Stein am Rhein region to Radolfzell/Bodman, approx. 35–50 km

    Your route takes you along the Höri peninsula, a veritable ‘artists' landscape'. Numerous painters and writers, such as Otto Dix, found inspiration here. While cycling through this peaceful region, you can embark on a cultural journey of discovery at the Hesse Museum or Haus Dix. In Radolfzell, the day comes to a leisurely close with regional specialities and a stroll through the old town.

  • Day 5 - From Radolfzell/Bodman to Friedrichshafen/surroundings, approx. 40–60 km

    On your cycling tour around Lake Constance, you will cycle through idyllic vineyards and orchards via Sipplingen and the baroque monastery church of Birnau. In Unteruhldingen, the Lake Dwelling Museum invites you to take a journey back in time to prehistory. The charming town of Meersburg will enchant you with its medieval flair before you visit the famous Zeppelin Museum in Friedrichshafen.

  • Day 6 - From Friedrichshafen/surroundings to Bregenz/Höchst, approx. 35–45 km

    Today, your cycling holiday takes you along the lake shore to the historic island town of Lindau and on to Bregenz, Austria's cultural metropolis. Enjoy a fantastic panoramic view of Lake Constance from the Pfänder. You will reach your destination for the day through the idyllic Rhine Delta, the largest freshwater delta in Europe.

  • Day 7 - From Bregenz/Höchst to Constance, approx. 55–65 km

    The last stage of your cycling tour on Lake Constance takes you through the Rhine Delta into Switzerland. Enjoy the sweeping views over Lake Constance and the foothills of the Alps before reaching Constance, the heart of your cycling holiday in the four-country region. If you prefer a more leisurely pace, you can shorten the route by taking the train (not included) from Romanshorn to Constance.

Parking facilities
Parking is available directly at the hotels or in the immediate surroundings (public parking) (subject to availability, payable on site). There is also private parking available for € 70,00 per car (payable on site, details in the travel documents).

Note for people with limited mobility
The cycle tour is not suitable for people with limited mobility. However, in specific cases it is possible to accommodate individual customer requests (e.g. barrier-free room).

Passport and visa requirements
To check in to your hotel you will need a valid passport or ID card.
For citizens of countries outside the Schengen area other regulations may apply. You are responsible for obtaining any visa you may require in good time.


Terms and Conditions of Payment:
The deposit of 10% of the tour price is due at the latest 14 days after receipt of the booking confirmation. The balance must be paid 14 days before arrival.

Cancellation Policy:
According to our General Terms and Conditions, the customer may withdraw from the contract at any time in writing. In the event of cancellation or non-commencement of travel, the following cancellation fees will become payable:
20% of the tour price up to the 28th day before departure
30% of the tour price from 27th to 14th day before departure
50% of the tour price from the 13th to the 8th day before departure
70% of the tour price from 7th to 4th day before departure
90% of the tour price from the 3rd day before departure until the day of arrival or in case of no-show

If the customer makes changes of the date of travel up to 28 days before departure, we will charge a processing fee of € 50,00 per booking. After this date, the cancellation policy will apply. Such changes to a booking may only be made in individual cases and if possible; the customer has no right to any changes.
