The cycle tour through South Tyrol has just as much to see: Vineyards, orchards and the cities of Bolzano and Merano. It is almost only a stone's throw from Trento to Riva del Garda and the deep blue Lake Garda beckons with its rugged rocks and the delicate pink of the oleander bushes.

Day 1 - Individual arrival in Füssen
Arrival in Füssen, the starting point of the cycling tour on the Via Claudia Augusta. Nestled in the picturesque Alpine backdrop, the town invites you to take a leisurely stroll through the old town. The crowning glory of your cycling holiday in Germany is a visit to the world-famous Neuschwanstein Castle, which enchants with its towers and views, the perfect start to your cycling holiday.

On the Via Claudia Augusta cycle path, you will first cycle from Füssen to Reutte. From here, you will be transferred over the Fern Pass. From Fernstein Castle, your cycle tour in Tyrol takes you via Nassereith through the picturesque Gurgltal valley to Imst. A ‘beery' experience awaits you at Starkenberg Castle. Explore the traditional private brewery and treat yourself to a tasting of regional beer specialities.

You cycle from Imst to Landeck and travel by transfer (included) over the Reschen Pass to Italy. In the evening, enjoy the South Tyrolean flair and regional cuisine, a highlight of your cycling holiday in Italy.

Today's cycle tour in South Tyrol takes you through the entire Vinschgau Valley. The Adige Cycle Path leads from around 1,200 metres above sea level in Burgeis down to 350 metres above sea level in Merano. You will often cycle directly along the Adige River and pass through the towns of Glurns, Laas and Naturns before reaching the spa town of Merano. End the day with a leisurely evening stroll along the Passer Promenade, surrounded by subtropical flora.

This cycling tour in Italy has many wonders in store: the famous Schnatterpeck altar in the church in Niederlana, the highest church tower in South Tyrol in Terlan, and numerous castles and ruins on both sides of the valley. There is the option of a short detour to South Tyrol's capital, Bolzano. Afterwards, Lake Kaltern offers a first-class opportunity to cool off tired cycling legs.

Today's cycle tour to Lake Garda takes you via Rovereto and Mori. A short climb to Passo San Giovanni (287 m) is rewarded with magnificent views before you roll down to Torbole. The route continues leisurely along the lake shore to Riva del Garda, the perfect destination for your cycling holiday on Lake Garda.

Return transfer from your cycling holidays by bus to Innsbruck possible (Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday): EUR 195,00 per person (minimum participants 2 persons).

Parking possibilities during your cycle holiday:
There are several parking facilities in the immediate vicinity of the city centre. In the underground car park P5 City Sparkassenhaus, a 2-minute walk from the city centre, a 10-day ticket costs around € 60.00 (available at the ticket machine). Parking for less than 10 days is charged at € 18.00 per day, so it is advisable to buy a 10-day ticket even for shorter parking periods, e.g. 7 days.
Note for people with reduced mobility
The cycle tour is generally not suitable for people with limited mobility. However, individual customer requests are possible in individual cases (e.g. handicapped accessible rooms).
Passport and visa requirements
A valid passport or ID card is required for hotel check-in.
Special entry requirements may apply to foreign citizens (outside the Schengen area). Each traveller is responsible for obtaining a visa in good time.
Terms and Conditions of Payment:
The deposit of 10% of the tour price is due at the latest 14 days after receipt of the booking confirmation. The balance must be paid 14 days before arrival.
Cancellation Policy:
According to our General Terms and Conditions, the customer may withdraw from the contract at any time in writing. In the event of cancellation or non-commencement of travel, the following cancellation fees will become payable:
20% of the tour price up to 28 days before arrival date
50% of the tour price from 27th to 8th day before arrival date
80% of the tour price from 7th to 1 day before arrival date
100% of the tour price on the day of arrival
If the customer makes changes of the date of travel up to 28 days before departure, we will charge a processing fee of € 65,00 per booking. After this date, the cancellation policy will apply. Such changes to a booking may only be made in individual cases and if possible; the customer has no right to any changes.
