This individual cycle tour combines the Alpine freshness of North Tyrol with the Mediterranean flair of the south. Along the Inn and Adige Cycle Path you will discover magnificent landscapes, historic towns and culinary specialities - from the piece of Sachertorte in Innsbruck to the first cappuccino on Lake Garda.

Day 1 - Individual arrival in Innsbruck
Your cycle tour in Austria and Italy begins in Innsbruck, the Alpine city with the Imperial Palace and the famous Golden Roof. Enjoy a walk through the old town or stop off at one of the traditional coffee houses, and the start of your cycle tour can be celebrated with a delicious Sacher cake.

You cycle along the Inn Cycle Path through the green Inn Valley, past the baroque Stams Abbey and the orchards around Haiming. The path leads through quiet pine forests and small villages, accompanied by the scent of hay and alpine herbs. In Imst, the 'fountain town of Tyrol', you can expect pretty houses and cosy inns with down-to-earth Tyrolean cuisine.

Along the Inn Cycle Path you reach Landeck, surrounded by the peaks of the Lechtal Alps. From here, a transfer will take you to Nauders, and you will be at the Reschen Pass, where you will cross the border to Italy and the main Alpine ridge. The legendary church tower of Curon rises mysteriously from the turquoise Lake Reschen, a perfect photo stop! Then you cycle downhill towards Mals.

Today you will experience the Vinschgau Valley from its most beautiful side: apple orchards, castles and wide views of the Ortler Group accompany your ride on the Adige Cycle Path. In Glorenza, it is worth taking a stroll through the medieval city wall before you roll over the marble city of Lasa to Merano. End the day with a glass of South Tyrolean Vernatsch on the Passer promenade, surrounded by palm trees and mountain peaks.

A day of pleasure cycling between wine and culture: via Lana with the famous Schnatterpeck altar, the route leads through the South Tyrolean Wine Road, where vineyards, apple orchards and castles dominate the picture. A short stop at Lake Caldaro offers the opportunity to dip your feet in the water and enjoy the panorama, dolce vita on two wheels!

You follow the course of the Adige through fragrant orchards to Salorno, where South Tyrol ends and Trentino begins. The historic centre of Trento welcomes you with Italian charm, historic palaces and a lively piazza, ideal for an espresso or a glass of Trentino Spumante.

The last day of cycling takes you via Rovereto and Mori through olive groves and vineyards. After the Passo San Giovanni, the view opens up to the deep blue Lake Garda, one of the most beautiful moments of this bike tour! In Torbole or Riva del Garda you can enjoy Mediterranean flair and Italian cuisine with a view of the lake, from fresh fish to creamy gelato.

You will start your journey home from your cycling holiday with many impressions, from the Alpine panorama to the southern joie de vivre.

Parking possibilities during your cycle holiday along the Adige cycle path:
You can park your car in a public underground car park, costs for 7 days are approx. € 45,00 -€ 90,00.
Note for people with limited mobility
The cycle tour is not suitable for people with limited mobility. However, in specific cases it is possible to accommodate individual customer requests (e.g. barrier-free room).
Passport and visa requirements
To check in to your hotel you will need a valid passport or ID card.
For citizens of countries outside the Schengen area other regulations may apply. You are responsible for obtaining any visa you may require in good time.
Terms and Conditions of Payment:
The deposit of 10% of the tour price is due at the latest 14 days after receipt of the booking confirmation. The balance must be paid 14 days before arrival.
Cancellation Policy:
According to our General Terms and Conditions, the customer may withdraw from the contract at any time in writing. In the event of cancellation or non-commencement of travel, the following cancellation fees will become payable:
20% of the tour price up to 28 days before arrival date
50% of the tour price from 27th to 8th day before arrival date
80% of the tour price from 7th to 1 day before arrival date
100% of the tour price on the day of arrival
If the customer makes changes of the date of travel up to 28 days before departure, we will charge a processing fee of € 65,00 per booking. After this date, the cancellation policy will apply. Such changes to a booking may only be made in individual cases and if possible; the customer has no right to any changes.

This ensures that you will benefit from all EU rights applicable to packages. Company OÖ Touristik GmbH will be fully responsible for the proper performance of the package as a whole.
Additionally, as required by law, the company OÖ Touristik GmbH has protection in place to refund your payments and, where transport is included in the package, to ensure your repatriation in the event that it becomes insolvent.
