Day 1 - Individual arrival in InnsbruckThe cycling holidays start with check-in and hand over of rented bikes if booked. Take the opportunity to visit Innsbruck's famous landmark the golden roof, “Goldenes Dachl” in the old quarter. Example of hotel: Austria Trend Hotel Congress in Innsbruck
Day 2 - From Innsbruck to Imst, approx. 60 kmEnjoy cycling along the River Inn, on the foot of the „Martinswand“, through small Tyrolean villages past the baroque Monastery of Stams via Haiming to Imst, the so-called Meran of the North Tyrol. Example of hotel: Hotel Neuner in Imst
Day 3 - From Imst to region lake Reschensee and Obervinschgau, approx. 55 kmToday you cycle along the Inn cycle path from Imst to the district capital Landeck. From Landeck you can take an organized transfer to Nauders, where you will soon cross the border into Italy at the Reschen Pass and the main Alpine ridge. Past the Reschen reservoir with one of the most famous photo spots in South Tyrol - the sunken church tower of Altgraun - you cycle downhill towards Mals. Day 4 - From region lake Reschensee and Obervinschgau to Merano approx. 60 kmNow it's time to cross the entire Vinschgau. The path leads from around 1,200 m above sea level in Burgeis down to 350 m above sea level in Meran. You often follow the course of the Etsch. From the starting point, this tour first leads down to the smallest town in the Alpine region, Glurns. Via the marble town of Laas you then reach Naturns and finally - past the striking Kastelbell Castle - the spa town of Meran. Day 5 - Adventure day in Merano, approx. 40 kmToday you will have the possibility to discover the Passeiertal valley, (birthplace of the innkeeper and patriot Andreas Hofer), or enjoy a hiking tour along the famous Tappeiner path or stroll through the arches of Merano. Day 6 - From Meran to region of Castelfeder, approx. 50 kmThe cycle route continues along the Southern Tyrol wine route past some vast fruit plantations, castles, fortresses and ruins as well as Lana and St. Paul to Kaltern, Tramin or Auer where you stay overnight. Day 7 - From region of Castelfeder to Bolzano, approx. 30 kmFrom the picturesque winegrowing villages flat through the Adige Valley or (more beautiful landscape but with a higher climb) via the Montiggler Lakes, past Sigmundskron to Bolzano. Example of hotel: Hotel Post Gries in Bolzano
Day 8 - Individual departure or extra nightsReturn transfer from your cycling holidays by bus to Innsbruck possible (please see rates).
Parking possibilities during your cycle holiday along the Adige cycle path:
For the duration of your cycling tour you can park your car in the garage of the arrival hotel (reservation necessary).
Security for your booking
As a tour operator, the safety, well-being and health of our customers are top priorities for us. We are constantly monitoring the current situation and are in close contact with official authorities. In the event of travel changes, we will inform you immediately. If an official travel warning is issued on your arrival date for your destination or your home town, you can of course cancel your trip free of charge or change your booking to another date.
Note for people with limited mobility
The cycle tour is not suitable for people with limited mobility. However, in specific cases it is possible to accommodate individual customer requests (e.g. barrier-free room).
Passport and visa requirements
To check in to your hotel you will need a valid passport or ID card.
For citizens of countries outside the Schengen area other regulations may apply. You are responsible for obtaining any visa you may require in good time.
Terms and Conditions of Payment:
The deposit of 10% of the tour price is due at the latest 14 days after receipt of the booking confirmation. The balance must be paid 14 days before arrival.
According to our General Terms and Conditions, the customer may withdraw from the contract at any time in writing. In the event of cancellation or non-commencement of travel, the following cancellation fees will become payable:
20% of the tour price up to 28 days before arrival date
30% of the tour price from 27th to 14th day before arrival date
50% of the tour price from 13th to 8th day before arrival date
70% of the tour price from 7th to 4th day before arrival date
90% of the tour price from 3rd day before arrival date to the day of arrival
If the customer makes changes to the booking (date of travel, tour, duration, transfer of the booking to another person etc.) up to 28 days before departure, for reasons which are outside our control, we will charge a processing fee of € 50,- per booking. After this date, the cancellation policy will apply. Such changes to a booking may only be made in individual cases and if possible; the customer has no right to any changes.

In case of a booking your announced data will be only used from OÖ Touristik GmbH for the process of bookings and related transactions and will be passed on only in the context of the contractual relationship to third parties. The combination of travel services offered to you is a package within the meaning of Directive (EU) 2015/2302.
This ensures that you will benefit from all EU rights applicable to packages. Company OÖ Touristik GmbH will be fully responsible for the proper performance of the package as a whole.
Additionally, as required by law, the company OÖ Touristik GmbH has protection in place to refund your payments and, where transport is included in the package, to ensure your repatriation in the event that it becomes insolvent.
