  • Day 1 - Individual arrival in Munich

    Individual arrival in the Bavarian capital. Discover sights such as Nymphenburg Palace, the Frauenkirche and Marienplatz, or visit the Deutsches Museum. Your cycling tour of the Munich lakes begins with culture, flair and anticipation for your cycling holiday.

  • Day 2 - From Munich to Lake Starnberg, approx.25- 60 km

    At Ammersee, it is worth stopping in Herrsching to enjoy the fantastic view of the lake. Then it's on to the famous Andechs Monastery – for sporty cyclists or those on e-bikes. Those who prefer a more leisurely pace can cycle through the Würm Valley to Starnberg (approx. 25 km) and enjoy the scenery.

  • Day 3 - Around Lake Starnberg, approx. 50 km

    The route along the eastern side passes the votive church dedicated to King Ludwig II. Shortly before Seeshaupt, Bernried Park and Bernried Monastery invite you to take a detour. A special highlight is the Rose Island, once visited by Empress Sisi. On the west side, you can stroll along the promenades or take a break for a swim. Back in Starnberg, it is worth visiting the Starnberger See Museum – alternatively, you can combine a boat trip with a cycling stage back to Starnberg.

  • Day 4 - Starnberg – Murnau/Seehausen region, approx. 55 km

    Cycle along the eastern side of Lake Starnberg to Berg. At the votive chapel near Berg Castle, a cross marks the spot where King Ludwig II died. Just before Seeshaupt, a beer garden and a beautiful beach invite you to take a break. The route continues into the picturesque foothills of the Alps to Murnau am Staffelsee and Seehausen, the heart of the Blue Land, ideal for relaxed cycling experiences.

  • Day 5 - Murnau/Seehausen region – Bad Tölz, approx. 50 km

    In the beautiful south of Bavaria, in the Isarwinkel region, you can expect turquoise-shimmering rivers, lakes reminiscent of the Caribbean and mystical moorlands. Artists such as Franz Marc and Gabriele Münter immortalised this picturesque region in their works. Enjoy the magnificent view over Lake Kochel and greet the onion domes of the Basilica of Benediktbeuren. The Isar town of Bad Tölz impresses with its historic architecture and charming market street – ideal for a relaxing break during your cycling tour.

  • Day 6 - Tour to Tegernsee, approx. 50 km

    Enjoy the idyllic picture-book landscape on a short bike ride to Lake Tegernsee. Freshly prepared specialities and a lawn for relaxing await you there. If you like, you can take an additional loop around Lake Tegernsee (+ approx. 20 km) and experience the region to the fullest on a bike tour.

  • Day 7 - From Bad Tölz to Munich, approx. 60 km

    Cycle back to Munich along the Isar Cycle Path through the idyllic landscape of Upper Bavaria. The Pupplinger Au on the banks of the Isar is the perfect place to take a break and enjoy the natural surroundings, while the beer gardens invite you to stop for a bite to eat. On the high banks, Grünwald Castle offers a magnificent view over the Isar Valley. The route continues through riparian forests and past Hellabrunn Zoo back to the Bavarian capital – a perfect end to your cycling tour.

  • Day 8 - Individual departure or extra nights



    Hotel examples: Your accommodation will mainly be in the hotels specified above however, in the event that a hotel is unavailable on the required date, an equivalent hotel will be booked.

Parking facilities
You can park your car in the hotel garage for approx. € 10,00 to € 15,00 per day (no reservation possible).
Alternatively, there are also very cheap P+R long-term parking spaces in Munich.

Note for people with limited mobility
The cycle tour is not suitable for people with limited mobility. However, in specific cases it is possible to accommodate individual customer requests (e.g. barrier-free room).

Passport and visa requirements
To check in to your hotel you will need a valid passport or ID card.
For citizens of countries outside the Schengen area other regulations may apply. You are responsible for obtaining any visa you may require in good time.

Terms and Conditions of Payment:
The deposit of 10% of the tour price is due at the latest 14 days after receipt of the booking confirmation. The balance must be paid 14 days before arrival.

Cancellation Policy:
According to our General Terms and Conditions, the customer may withdraw from the contract at any time in writing. In the event of cancellation or non-commencement of travel, the following cancellation fees will become payable:
20% of the tour price up to 28 days before arrival date
30% of the tour price from 27th to 14th day before arrival date
50% of the tour price from 13th to 8th day before arrival date
70% of the tour price from 7th to 4th day before arrival date
90% of the tour price from 3rd day before arrival date to the day of arrival

If the customer makes changes of the date of travel up to 28 days before departure, we will charge a processing fee of € 50,00 per booking. After this date, the cancellation policy will apply. Such changes to a booking may only be made in individual cases and if possible; the customer has no right to any changes.
