Itinerary
  • Day 1 - Individual arrival in Innsbruck

Check-in and you will receive your travel documents right away. If you booked our rental bikes, you will pick them up in the evening. Take your time strolling through the vibrant city in the Alps with its famous “Goldenes Dachl” (golden roof) Example of hotel: Rufi's Hotel in Innsbruck
  • Day 2 - From Innsbruck to Zillertal Valley, approx. 45 km

Leave the capital of the Tyrol behind you cycling through lovely villages until you reach the access of the Zillertal Valley. Enjoy the breathtaking mountain scenery along your bike route and take your time to explore the old town of Hall and the well-known world of the Swarovski-Crystals. Example of hotel: Gasthof Café Zillertal in Strass im Zillertal
  • Day 3 - From Zillertal Valley to Kufstein, approx. 35 km

Numerous medieval castles and palaces line the Inn Cycle Path to the beautiful little town of Rattenberg. Visit the Museum of Tyrolean Farms in Kramsach before continuing your cycle tour in Tyrol to 'the little town of Kufstein on the green Inn'. Hotel example Hotel Goldener Löwe in Kufstein
  • Day 4 - From Kufstein to Rosenheim, approx. 35 km

Enjoy cycling away from the magnificent fortress of Kufstein towards the Bavarian foothills of the Alps. The River Inn is now getting broader floating in direction of Rosenheim, in antique times already a commercial centre of the Chiemsee region. Example of hotel: Hotel Flötzinger Bräu in Rosenheim
  • Day 5 - From Rosenheim to Wasserburg, approx. 30 km

Your bike tour mainly leads along the dam, partly through lowland forest before you cycle to Wasserburg. The special location in a river loop makes the cityscape so unique. Wasserburg, with its historical old town, picturesque facades and narrow lanes certainly is one of the most beautiful cities along the River Inn. Example of hotel: Hotel-Gasthof Paulanerstuben in Wasserburg
  • Day 6 - From Wasserburg to Mühldorf, approx. 50 km

The cycle path to Mühldorf leads a bit outlying of the River Inn through lovely farmland, small villages and great high grounds. Typical for Mühldorf is the long drawn-out square with its beautiful town houses. Example of hotel: Altstadthotel Wetzel in Mühldorf
  • Day 7 - From Mühldorf to Kirchdorf/Inn, approx. 45 km

Take your time to visit two of the most popular pilgrimage sites along your bike route to Braunau. Altötting is Bavaria's most important pilgrimage place and Marktl birthplace of Pope Benedict XVI. Before cycling to Kirchdorf/Inn, well-worth seeing is the breath-taking city of Burghausen with Europe's longest fortification. Example of hotel: Hotel Inntalhof in Kirchdorf/Inn
  • Day 8 - From Kirchdorf/Inn to Bad Füssing, approx. 35 km

Your cycle route leads through the impressive European reservation of the Lower River Inn with its species rich bird world and flora before you reach Bad Füssing offside the River Inn. Enjoy this great health and spa resort. Example of hotel: Vitalhotel Vier Jahreszeiten in Bad Füssing
  • Day 9 - From Bad Füssing to Passau, approx. 40 km

Along your cycle route to Passau picturesque baroque towns invite you for a visit: Obernberg with its lovely market square, the magnificent Monastery Reichersberg and Schärding with its famous Silberzeile. A confluence of River Inn and River Danube rewards Passau as one of Germany's most beautiful cities. Example of hotel: Hotel Passauer Wolf in Passau
  • Day 10 - Individual departure or extra nights

Return transfer by train to Innsbruck (included) – transfer of own bike is not included

OÖ Touristik GmbH

In 1990 the OÖ Touristik performed a pioneering work on the sector of organised cycle holidays: the first bookable cycle tour along the Danube including luggage transfer. Already a year later we offered the first group tours. Over the years the offers of the cycle holidays has expanded throughout Europe and are as popular as ever. During the last 30 years we have expanded the portfolio on mountain bike tours, cycle holidays by bike and boat, group tours and hiking holidays as well as winter and wellness holidays. The organisation and handling of international congresses and events meanwhile adds to the successful enterprise sections.
