  • Day 2 - From Strasbourg to Obernai/surroundings, approx. 55 km

Your bike tour begins along an idyllic canal system with picturesque views of the Vosges Mountains. You'll cycle through charming villages and past old lock systems until you reach Wasselonne. Following the little river Bruche, the well-developed cycle path continues to the famous Alsace Wine Route. Romantic wine villages with historic centers, often still surrounded by old city walls, await you here. The destination of today's cycling stage is Obernai, the first gem on the Wine Route.
Example of hotel: Le Kastelberg in Obernai/surroundings
  • Day 3 - From Obernai/surroundings to Riquewihr/surroundings, approx. 50 km

On today's stage, you'll cycle along the gentle hills of the Vosges; endless vineyards and medieval castles make this part of your cycling holiday in France a true experience. In charming towns like Andlau, Ribeauvillé, and Riquewihr, time seems to stand still – the perfect setting to soak up the atmosphere of these historic villages. In Kaysersberg, you'll encounter traces of Albert Schweitzer.
Example of hotel: Hôtel KLÉ in Riquewihr/surroundings
  • Day 4 - From Riquewihr/surroundings to Colmar, approx. 40 km

Today, your bike tour continues with more highlights along the Alsace Wine Route. The day's destination is Colmar – the capital of the Wine Route. In the tranquil old town, you can admire art by Martin Schongauer or the American Statue of Liberty created by Auguste Bartholdi.

Take time for a leisurely stroll through picturesque Colmar with its “Little Venice” and the famous Unterlinden Museum. Don't miss the dreamy wine villages you'll pass through on today's cycling route. Here you're on the Romanesque Road, lined with impressive buildings from the 11th and 12th centuries. From Guebwiller, you can cycle to Bollwiller to take the train directly, or continue on to Ungersheim, passing the Écomusée d'Alsace, the open-air museum. From there, the bike path leads directly to Mulhouse. Return to Colmar by train (not included).

  • Day 6 - From Colmar to Mulhouse/surroundings, approx. 65 km

This stage of your cycling holiday in Alsace takes you from Colmar to Neuf-Brisach, the Vauban fortress town and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Continue cycling along the Canal du Rhône au Rhin through the village of Ottmarsheim and the Hardt Forest to Mulhouse – the European capital of technical museums.
