Itinerary
  • Day 1 - Individual arrival in Orange

    Your cycling tour to France begins with your individual arrival. You will check into your room in the late afternoon, afterwards you will receive detailed tour information in English and be given your hire bikes. Use the first day to relax and settle in, and to explore the city for the first time.

  • Day 2 - From Orange to Uzès, approx. 55 km

    The first stage of your cycling tour through Provence takes you through a dreamlike landscape full of vineyards and rolling hills. Along the picturesque Uzès valley, you will cycle past charming villages with historic stone houses and enjoy magnificent views of the typical Provençal scenery.

  • Day 3 - From Uzès to Pont du Gard and Avignon, approx. 50 km

    Today, you will cycle along narrow, quiet country roads through the peaceful countryside of southern France. Your destination is the world-famous Pont du Gard, an impressive Roman aqueduct dating back to around the time of Christ's birth. Today's destination on your cycling holiday in France is the historic city of Avignon. Here you will find numerous sights from the Middle Ages and modern times. .

  • Day 4 - From Avignon to St. Rémy, approx. 55 km

    Today, you will cycle leisurely along quiet roads through the enchanting landscape of Provence to St. Rémy-de-Provence, one of the cultural highlights of your cycling holiday. This charming town, known as the residence of Vincent van Gogh and birthplace of Nostradamus, invites you to linger. As you cycle through the surrounding area, you will not only experience the Provençal way of life, but also impressive motifs that inspired the famous painter.

  • Day 5 - Round trip from St. Rémy to Les Baux, approx. 40 km

    On today's stage through France, you will experience the soul of Provence in all its splendour. The route takes you past cypress avenues and breathtaking gorges to your destination for today, Les Baux de Provence. The medieval castle sits enthroned on an imposing high plateau, majestically overlooking the town and the surrounding countryside. A real highlight of your cycling tour in France.

  • Day 6 - From St. Rémy to Arles, approx. 30 km

    The sixth day of your cycling tour in France is pleasantly flat. You will cycle leisurely through flat terrain towards Arles, one of the cultural highlights of your cycling holiday in Provence. The city is picturesquely situated on the Rhône and is considered one of the most beautiful cities in the region. The city is especially recommended on market days.

  • Day 7 - Round trip from Arles to Ste-Maries-de-la-Mer, approx. 35 km

    At the end of your cycling tour through southern France, a very special nature experience awaits you. The tour leads through flat terrain, ideal for relaxed cycling. Along the way, you will encounter the symbols of the region: white wild horses, pink flamingos and the bulls typical of the Camargue characterise the image of this extraordinary landscape.

  • Day 8 - Transfer by train to Orange or extra nights

    After eventful days filled with nature and culture, your cycling tour through France ends with a train ride back to Orange. Here you have the option of extending your cycling holiday with an additional stay or continuing your individual journey home from here.

Parking possibilities
You can book a parking space at the hotel. This parking space must be reserved and paid for in advance. (approx. € 11,00 per night).

Note for people with limited mobility
The cycle tour is not suitable for people with limited mobility. However, in specific cases it is possible to accommodate individual customer requests (e.g. barrier-free room).

Passport and visa requirements
To check in to your hotel you will need a valid passport or ID card.
For citizens of countries outside the Schengen area other regulations may apply. You are responsible for obtaining any visa you may require in good time.

Terms and Conditions of Payment:
The deposit of 10% of the tour price is due at the latest 14 days after receipt of the booking confirmation. The balance must be paid 14 days before arrival.

Cancellation Policy:
According to our General Terms and Conditions, the customer may withdraw from the contract at any time in writing. In the event of cancellation or non-commencement of travel, the following cancellation fees will become payable:
20% of the tour price up to 42 days before departure
25% of the tour price from 41st to 22nd day before departure
40% of the tour price from 21st to 15th day before departure
60% of the tour price from 14th to 1st day before departure
90% of the tour price day of arrival or No-Show

If the customer makes changes of the date of travel up to 42 days before departure, we will charge a processing fee of € 50,00 per booking. After this date, the cancellation policy will apply. Such changes to a booking may only be made in individual cases and if possible; the customer has no right to any changes.
