Day 1 - Individual arrival in OrangeIndividual arrival in Orange. Room check-in, tour information and hand over of the rental bikes in the evening. Day 2 - From Orange to Uzès, approx. 55 kmThe first bike tour in the Provence takes you along vineyards through the wonderful landscape in the valley of Uzès. Day 3 - From Uzès to Pont du Gard and Avignon, approx. 50 kmYou cycle along narrow, rarely used country roads to the famous Pont du Gard, the famous Roman aqueduct from the time around the birth of Christ. Avignon, the goal of your bike trip in France, offers a wealth of sights from the middle age and modern times. Tip: the city walls, the impressive old town, the Pope Palace and much more. Day 4 - From Avignon to St. Rémy, approx. 55 kmYou're cycling comfortably to St. Remy on quiet streets. The city is the residence of Van Gogh and the birth place of Nostradamus. Example of hotel: Hôtel Gounod in St. Rémy
Day 5 - Round trip from St. Rémy to Les Baux, approx. 40 kmToday's bike tour reflects the soul of the Provence. Lavender, herbs and cypresses dominate along the cycle path. You cycle past rocks and canyons to the picturesque Les Baux-de-Provence, one of the most beautiful villages in France. Day 6 - From St. Rémy to Arles, approx. 30 kmThis cycle stage takes you through flat terrain to Arles. The city is one of the most worth-seeing in the Provence. Day 7 - Round trip from Arles to Ste-Maries-de-la-Mer, approx. 35 kmOn your last cycling tour in south France you go to Camargue. The home of wild horses, flamingos and bulls. The flat landscape is perfect for cycling. Example of hotel: Hôtel Forum in Arles
Day 8 - Transfer by train to Orange or extra nightsTransfer back to Orange by train, extra nights or individual departure from France.
You can book a parking space at the hotel. This has to be paid on site and must be booked in advance (approx. € 10,00 per night).
Security for your booking:
As a tour operator, the safety, well-being and health of our customers are top priorities for us. We are constantly monitoring the current situation and are in close contact with official authorities. In the event of travel changes, we will inform you immediately. If an official travel warning is issued on your arrival date for your destination or your home town, you can of course cancel your trip free of charge or change your booking to another date.
Note for people with limited mobility
The cycle tour is not suitable for people with limited mobility. However, in specific cases it is possible to accommodate individual customer requests (e.g. barrier-free room).
Passport and visa requirements
To check in to your hotel you will need a valid passport or ID card.
For citizens of countries outside the Schengen area other regulations may apply. You are responsible for obtaining any visa you may require in good time.
Terms and Conditions of Payment:
The deposit of 10% of the tour price is due at the latest 14 days after receipt of the booking confirmation. The balance must be paid 14 days before arrival.
According to our General Terms and Conditions, the customer may withdraw from the contract at any time in writing. In the event of cancellation or non-commencement of travel, the following cancellation fees will become payable:
20% of the tour price up to 42 days before departure
25% of the tour price from 41st to 22nd day before departure
40% of the tour price from 21st to 15th day before departure
60% of the tour price from 14th to 1st day before departure
90% of the tour price day of arrival or No-Show
If the customer makes changes to the booking (date of travel, tour, duration, transfer of the booking to another person etc.) up to 28 days before departure, for reasons which are outside our control, we will charge a processing fee of € 50,- per booking. After this date, the cancellation policy will apply. Such changes to a booking may only be made in individual cases and if possible; the customer has no right to any changes.

In case of a booking your announced data will be only used from OÖ Touristik GmbH for the process of bookings and related transactions and will be passed on only in the context of the contractual relationship to third parties. The combination of travel services offered to you is a package within the meaning of Directive (EU) 2015/2302.
This ensures that you will benefit from all EU rights applicable to packages. Company OÖ Touristik GmbH will be fully responsible for the proper performance of the package as a whole.
Additionally, as required by law, the company OÖ Touristik GmbH has protection in place to refund your payments and, where transport is included in the package, to ensure your repatriation in the event that it becomes insolvent.

The tour operator OÖ Touristik GmbH, Freistädter Str. 119, 4041 Linz has completed a bankruptcy insurance with Raiffeisen Landesbank Oberösterreich AG, Europaplatz 1a, 4020 Linz. Travelers have to contact the liquidator within 8 weeks if they are denied claims due to the insolvency of OÖ Touristik GmbH. Details on the business license of OÖ Touristik GmbH can be found on the website https://www.gisa.gv.at/abfrage under the GISA number 14930096.
