Today, Linz presents itself as a modern city – with the Ars Electronica Centre, the LENTOS Art Museum and the graffiti art in Mural Harbor. And, of course, a slice of the famous Linzer Torte is a must.

Then begin your first stage along the picturesque Danube Cycle Path to Mauthausen, where you cross the river via the Danube Bridge. After a few kilometres, you will reach Enns, Austria's oldest town – with Roman roots, city walls and a striking city tower. From here, follow the Enns Cycle Path to the romantic town of Steyr, which has flourished as an iron town since the Middle Ages. Today, it enchants visitors with its unique townscape, the imposing Lamberg Castle and the Gothic Bummerlhaus on the historic town square.

In the afternoon, you will reach Salzburg, a baroque masterpiece and UNESCO World Heritage Site.
