Day 1 - Individual arrival in Vienna
Check-in and you receive your travel documents for the cycling holidays. Enjoy strolling through Vienna's beautiful inner city or visiting one of Vienna's traditional wine taverns, the so-called Heurigen. Handover of your rented bike with some further information before you continue cycling through untouched meadowland – enjoying pure nature and relaxation during an interesting time travel, before you reach the charming old town of Bratislava, Slovakia's capital. The Schütt Island is a paradise for birds and fish admits an unspoiled landscape with small islands, idyllic farm villages and a labyrinth with side arms of the River Danube. Today you reach the town of 17 bridges, Mosonmagyarovar. Today enjoy the Schütt Islands unique surroundings with virtually pristine nature, primordial water landscapes, its meadowland and ancient trees before reaching Györ, a flourishing industrial city at the confluence of River Danube, River Rába and River Rábca. The small lanes, the baroque churches and palaces are well-worth visiting before you continue by train to Komarom, King Matthias favorite city. Today your cycle route in Hungary leads along the Danube waterside on dams and low traffic side roads. Cycling past small farm houses, the Roman castle before you reach the bishop and emperor city of Esztergom. Amidst rolling hills the river parts and cycle through idyllic villages along Szentendre Island. Countless small handcraft shops and the open-air museum Skanzen made this picturesque town on the mainland world famous. During a boat trip a special highlight is the view onto the famous and impressive buildings of Budapest. After breakfast is time for a short city tour (facultative). Return transfer to Vienna by public coach possible.
Parking possibilities during your cycle holiday along the Danube cycle path:
Public parking garage = Park & Ride: approx. € 18.30 per week, unguarded, at Leopoldau underground station.
Security for your booking:
As a tour operator, the safety, well-being and health of our customers are top priorities for us. We are constantly monitoring the current situation and are in close contact with official authorities. In the event of travel changes, we will inform you immediately. If an official travel warning is issued on your arrival date for your destination or your home town, you can of course cancel your trip free of charge or change your booking to another date.
Note for people with limited mobility
The cycle tour is not suitable for people with limited mobility. However, in specific cases it is possible to accommodate individual customer requests (e.g. barrier-free room).
Passport and visa requirements
To check in to your hotel you will need a valid passport or ID card.
For citizens of countries outside the Schengen area other regulations may apply. You are responsible for obtaining any visa you may require in good time.
Terms and Conditions of Payment:
The deposit of 10% of the tour price is due at the latest 14 days after receipt of the booking confirmation. The balance must be paid 14 days before arrival.
Cancellation Policy:
According to our General Terms and Conditions, the customer may withdraw from the contract at any time in writing. In the event of cancellation or non-commencement of travel, the following cancellation fees will become payable:
20% of the tour price up to 28 days before arrival date
30% of the tour price from 27th to 14th day before arrival date
50% of the tour price from 13th to 8th day before arrival date
70% of the tour price from 7th to 4th day before arrival date
90% of the tour price from 3rd day before arrival date to the day of arrival
If the customer makes changes to the booking (date of travel, tour, duration, transfer of the booking to another person etc.) up to 28 days before departure, for reasons which are outside our control, we will charge a processing fee of € 50,- per booking. After this date, the cancellation policy will apply. Such changes to a booking may only be made in individual cases and if possible; the customer has no right to any changes.

In case of a booking your announced data will be only used from OÖ Touristik GmbH for the process of bookings and related transactions and will be passed on only in the context of the contractual relationship to third parties. The combination of travel services offered to you is a package within the meaning of Directive (EU) 2015/2302.
This ensures that you will benefit from all EU rights applicable to packages. Company OÖ Touristik GmbH will be fully responsible for the proper performance of the package as a whole.
Additionally, as required by law, the company OÖ Touristik GmbH has protection in place to refund your payments and, where transport is included in the package, to ensure your repatriation in the event that it becomes insolvent.

The liquidator is the Europäische Reiseversicherung AG, Kratochwjlestraße 4, 1220 Wien, Email: info@europaeische.at, 24-hour emergency number: +43 1 3172500.
Travelers have to contact the liquidator within 8 weeks if they are denied claims due to the insolvency of OÖ Touristik GmbH. Details on the business license of OÖ Touristik GmbH can be found on the website https://www.gisa.gv.at/abfrage under the GISA number 14930096.
