After a delicious breakfast start in direction of Mitterkirchen. Your first highlight of your cycle route awaits you in the Celtic Village an exhibition of houses, where the people's life is shown, who lived approx. 2700 years ago during the Hallstatt period. Today enjoy cycling to the picturesque baroque town of Grein. Visit Austria's oldest town theatre. Fancy an ice cream? The selection of ice-cream flavor at Schörgi's ice-parlor is great. From Marbach to Pöchlarn you cycle after a few kilometers through the worlds famous Wachau Valley. Admire already from a distance the magnificent Benedictine Monastery Melk, before your bike tour continues through vineyards to Spitz, situated on the foot of Mt. 1000-Eimer. This day is all about relaxation during your cycle tour in Austria. Parents can enjoy a relaxing day in the shady hotel garden and the children have time to play. Enjoy during today's bike tour the great view onto gently vineyard hills on the left and right riverside, while you are on board a Danube ship going past well-known villages, such as Weißenkirchen und Dürnstein, before arriving in Krems. High up the hills fortresses from a long past time can be imagined. Continue by train to Tulln and from there by bike to Stockerau. Today, on your last day cycling it is not far until you reach the Danube metropolis Vienna, where a great variety of sights await you. In Linz, the car can be parked in a parking garage for the duration of the bike tour.

Security for your booking
As a tour operator, the safety, well-being and health of our customers are top priorities for us. We are constantly monitoring the current situation and are in close contact with official authorities. In the event of travel changes, we will inform you immediately. If an official travel warning is issued on your arrival date for your destination or your home town, you can of course cancel your trip free of charge or change your booking to another date.
Note for people with limited mobility
The cycle tour is not suitable for people with limited mobility. However, in specific cases it is possible to accommodate individual customer requests (e.g. barrier-free room).
Passport and visa requirements
To check in to your hotel you will need a valid passport or ID card.
For citizens of countries outside the Schengen area other regulations may apply. You are responsible for obtaining any visa you may require in good time.
Terms and Conditions of Payment:
The deposit of 10% of the tour price is due at the latest 14 days after receipt of the booking confirmation. The balance must be paid 14 days before arrival.
Cancellation Policy:
According to our General Terms and Conditions, the customer may withdraw from the contract at any time in writing. In the event of cancellation or non-commencement of travel, the following cancellation fees will become payable:
20% of the tour price up to 28 days before arrival date
30% of the tour price from 27th to 14th day before arrival date
50% of the tour price from 13th to 8th day before arrival date
70% of the tour price from 7th to 4th day before arrival date
90% of the tour price from 3rd day before arrival date to the day of arrival
If the customer makes changes to the booking (date of travel, tour, duration, transfer of the booking to another person etc.) up to 28 days before departure, for reasons which are outside our control, we will charge a processing fee of € 50,- per booking. After this date, the cancellation policy will apply. Such changes to a booking may only be made in individual cases and if possible; the customer has no right to any changes.

Cycle Path - Austrian Danube
Length: The Danube Cycle Path in Austria - starting in Passau and finishing in Vienna - is 326 kilometers long.
Route description: The Danube cycle path Passau - Vienna is very well developed. The Danube cycle path in Austria is asphalted practically everywhere. You cycle along roads with little traffic on your bike tours, usually even on both sides of the river.
Signposting: On your cycle tour in Austria, follow the special signposts. The cycle paths in Upper and Lower Austria are marked with green, rectangular signs. The Danube cycle path in Austria is marked as such by name in most cases. (R1 in Upper Austria). Regional cycle paths connect to it.
Sights along the Danube Cycle Path Passau - Vienna
Passau: The city of three rivers welcomes you warmly on your cycle tour in Austria. This is where the Ilz and Inn flow into the Danube, causing it to swell into a mighty river. In Passau, the picturesque old town invites you to take a tour before the start of your cycle tour in Austria, which will certainly take you to Passau Cathedral with the largest church organ in the world. The Veste Oberhaus towers high above Passau.

Wachau: The UNESCO World Heritage region of Wachau stretches between Melk and Krems in Lower Austria. The Danube Cycle Path leads directly through this famous Lower Austrian wine region. Even the Romans cultivated wine in terraces to the left and right of the Danube. Don't miss out on a visit to a wine tavern to sample the tangy Grüner Veltliner. Melk Benedictine Abbey can be seen from afar from the Danube Cycle Path. It impresses with its magnificent rooms and a well-known abbey library.
Vienna: Austria's capital is the destination of your cycle tour along the Danube Cycle Path. Numerous sights invite you to visit: Schönbrunn Park and Palace, the Prater, the Ringstrasse with its numerous magnificent buildings, the Hofburg and much more.
