Day 1 - Individual arrival in Helsingborg
Just a short ferry ride from Helsingør in Denmark, Helsingborg is located in Skåne, right by the sea. This historic city with buildings dating back to the 12th century is perfect for exploring. Your hotel is centrally located, close to the medieval watchtower “Kärnan” and St. Mary's Church. Enjoy magnificent views of the Öresund and the surrounding coastal landscape.

Today's cycle tour begins along the beach promenade and takes you to the magnificent Sofiero Castle with its enchanting park, a blooming oasis that was named Europe's most beautiful park in 2010. The tour continues through picturesque fishing villages and idyllic harbours. In Höganäs, you will have the opportunity to admire and browse the world-famous ceramics. The stage ends along the Kulla peninsula in the charming town of Ängelholm.

In the morning, you cycle along the coast to Vejbystrand. Then you cross the peninsula through the picturesque Sinarpsdalen valley to the charming summer town of Båstad. The route continues along one of Sweden's longest sandy beaches, past the towns of Skummeslövsstrand and Mellbystrand. Finally, you will pass the Tönnrersa and Gullbranna nature reserves before reaching your destination in Halmstad.

Today's cycling route takes you to Sweden's most famous beach, Tylösand. The route continues north along the coast, where you can discover the sea, open countryside, exciting nature reserves and lush farmland. Via Grimsholmen, you will cycle to Falkenberg, the oldest town in the province of Halland.

Today, you will cycle through picturesque fishing villages and towns full of arts and crafts. Träslövsläge is worth a stop to enjoy freshly cooked lobster or treat yourself to a delicious ice cream from the local ice cream parlor. Your destination for the day, the stately fortress of Varberg, greets you from afar.

North of Varberg, the landscape changes: gradually, the sandy beaches give way to rocky coastlines, and the first islands appear on the horizon. Passing fields and horse farms, you finally arrive in Kungsbacka, a cozy former trading town with an impressive old town.

Parking possibilities during your cycle holiday in Sweden:
A hotel garage parking space costs approximately € 25,00 per day (no reservations possible, payment on site). A public parking garage is also available and costs approximately € 30,00 per day.
Note for people with limited mobility
The cycle tour is not suitable for people with limited mobility. However, in specific cases it is possible to accommodate individual customer requests (e.g. barrier-free room).
Passport and visa requirements
To check in to your hotel you will need a valid passport or ID card.
For citizens of countries outside the Schengen area other regulations may apply. You are responsible for obtaining any visa you may require in good time.
Terms and Conditions of Payment:
The deposit of 10% of the tour price is due at the latest 14 days after receipt of the booking confirmation. The balance must be paid 14 days before arrival.
Cancellation Policy:
According to our General Terms and Conditions, the customer may withdraw from the contract at any time in writing. In the event of cancellation or non-commencement of travel, the following cancellation fees will become payable:
20% of the tour price up to the 28th day before departure
30% of the tour price from 27th to 14th day before departure
50% of the tour price from the 13th to the 8th day before departure
70% of the tour price from 7th to 4th day before departure
100% of the tour price from the 3rd day before departure until the day of arrival
If the customer makes changes of the date of travel up to 28 days before departure, we will charge a processing fee of € 50,00 per booking. After this date, the cancellation policy will apply. Such changes to a booking may only be made in individual cases and if possible; the customer has no right to any changes.
