You start your cycling tour in Flanders in historical surroundings: a fierce battle took place near Hechtel in September 1944. From now on, lovely moments follow during the cycling vacation in Belgium: canals, forests and the nature reserve De Maat are balm for the mind. The playing card town of Turnhout invites you to take a stroll during your cycling trip in Flanders. Example of hotel: City Hotel in TurnhoutDay 4 - From Turnhout to Antwerpen, approx. 60 km

You leave Antwerp along the cycle route in Flanders in the direction of Leuven. Life pulsates in this invitingly convivial student city. The city itself is home to a magnificent Gothic old town. While cycling in Flanders, you will pass right by the free-floating observation staircase in Tielt-Winge, which soars high into the air. A little further on is a fortified wine castle that will delight wine lovers. Diest is home to one of the oldest beguinages in Europe, not to be missed on your cycling vacation in Belgium. Explore the city on a walk along the Demer River. The banks always offer charming paths, access stairs, terraces and a footbridge over the water. Example of hotel: Hotel de Franse Kroon in DiestDay 7 - From Diest to Genk, approx. 60 km
The water determines your last day of cycling vacation in Belgium. First you cycle along the Schuler Meer, which offers a wide range of recreational activities. Then you will enter the land of 1001 ponds, where countless waterholes with colorful flora and fauna dominate the landscape. At the end of the bike tour in Flanders, something special awaits you: you cycle through the water, across a natural pond on a 200 meter long bike path. And always at eye level with the water level, where you are in complete harmony with the unique landscape. Example of hotel: Hotel Stiemerheide in GenkDay 8 - Individual departure or extra nights
