Day 1 - Individual arrival in Linz
Check-in and handover of the travel documents for your bike tour along the Danube cycle path before you enjoy a stroll through the capital of Upper Austria. Example of hotel: ARCOTEL Nike**** in LinzDay 2 - Linz–Grein, approx. 60 km
Leaving Linz behind the cycle route leads through the Machland‘s meadow landscape to the picturesque baroque town of Grein, with its shipping museum and Austria's oldest city theatre. Example of hotel: Hotel Aumühle**** in GreinDay 3 - Grein–Krems, approx. 82 km
Start your cycling tour through the impressive landscape of the Strudengau and Nibelungengau before you reach the Wachau Valley. Through the lovely winegrowing region, you follow along the Danube via the world famous villages of Spitz and Dürnstein to Krems. On your last cycle day, you bike via the Roman town of Tulln and Klosterneuburg to Vienna, capital of Austria. The city of Waltz offers culture and art for everyone. You can take the train to shorten the cycling distance if you like. Your luggage is in Vienna at the latest at 5.30 pm at Arcotel Kaiserwasser. Individual departure or extra nights and on request we are pleased to send you rates for a return transfer by train.
