Day 1 - Individual arrival in Trier
You begin with your cycling tour along the Moselle cycling path in Trier. Plan some spare time exploring this beautiful town with its oldest and best conserved Roman gate the ‘Porta Nigra`. Along the Moselle Cycle Path you come to Saarburg. The Leukbach flows through the town. The approx. 20 m high waterfall in the middle of the town is a special attraction. During a ride with the double chairlift up the Warsberg you can enjoy the view of the beautiful Saar valley. Your bike tour will take you through tranquil wine villages to Trittenheim. Passing Neumagen-Dhron, the oldest wine village in Germany, you will reach the famous wine village Bernkastel-Kues or Zeltingen. Behind Traben-Trarbach, you will reach the Moselle loop near Zell, the 'Zeller Hamm', on your cycling tour. With around 6 million vines, Zell is one of the largest wine-growing communities on the Moselle. Via Bullay you cycle to Bremm with a magnificent view of the steepest vineyard in Europe, the Calmont. In Cochem, the imposing fortress and the Reichsburg await you. Along your bike tour along the Moselle, you will reach the Moselle core. A stopover to the nearby Eltz Castle is recommended before your path between the Moselle and vineyards leads you further to Koblenz. A leisurely last cycling stage along the Rhine leads you today to Braubach, where Marksburg Castle greets you from afar, before you reach the wine town of Boppard. In the afternoon, you will return to Koblenz by boat. Admire the landscape of the Upper Middle Rhine Valley World Heritage Site on board. Outside the shipping season, the return trip is by bike. Parking possibilities
Some of the hotels have their own parking facilities directly on the premises, which are either free of charge or subject to a fee (between € 5,- and € 20,- per day or night). There are public parking garages or parking lots (free or paid) in the vicinity.
Note for people with limited mobility
The cycle tour is not suitable for people with limited mobility. However, in specific cases it is possible to accommodate individual customer requests (e.g. barrier-free room).
Passport and visa requirements
To check in to your hotel you will need a valid passport or ID card.
For citizens of countries outside the Schengen area other regulations may apply. You are responsible for obtaining any visa you may require in good time.
Terms and Conditions of Payment:
The deposit of 10% of the tour price is due at the latest 14 days after receipt of the booking confirmation. The balance must be paid 14 days before arrival.
Cancellation Policy:
According to our General Terms and Conditions, the customer may withdraw from the contract at any time in writing. In the event of cancellation or non-commencement of travel, the following cancellation fees will become payable:
20% of the tour price up to the 28th day before departure
30% of the tour price from 27th to 14th day before departure
50% of the tour price from the 13th to the 8th day before departure
70% of the tour price from 7th to 4th day before departure
90% of the tour price from the 3rd day before departure until the day of arrival
If the customer makes changes of the date of travel up to 28 days before departure, we will charge a processing fee of € 55,00 per booking. After this date, the cancellation policy will apply. Such changes to a booking may only be made in individual cases and if possible; the customer has no right to any changes.

In case of a booking your announced data will be only used from OÖ Touristik GmbH for the process of bookings and related transactions and will be passed on only in the context of the contractual relationship to third parties. Additionally, as required by law, the company OÖ Touristik GmbH has protection in place to refund your payments and, where transport is included in the package, to ensure your repatriation in the event that it becomes insolvent.
