Day 1 - Individual arrival in Constance
Start your cycling holiday on Lake Constance with a stroll through Constance. The lovely city has a lot to offer: the riverside promenade, the Rosgarten Museum and cozy cafés to relax in. The first cycle tour on Lake Constance leads to Switzerland. The picturesque medieval town of Stein am Rhein enraptures visitors. On the banks of the Hochrheins (High Rhine) you cycle to Gailingen and on to Schaffhausen. On the Rhine cycle route, you will reach a real highlight of your bike tour on Lake Constance early in the morning: the Rhine Falls. The bike tour at Lake Constance leads to the home of Hermann Hesse. A visit to the Hermann Hesse House in Gaienhofen is a must-do during your cycle tour in Germany. The painter Otto Dix also chose Gaienhofen as his domicile; his home and studio can be visited today as Museum Haus Dix. You cycle along the Lake Constance cycle path to Uhldingen, which is known for its World Cultural Heritage Site of pile dwellings. While cycling along Lake Constance, you cycle through the largest and most important nature reserve Eriskircher Ried. Extensive vineyards and orchards thrive magnificently in the mild Lake Constance climate. Lindau is suitable for an extended stop on your cycling vacation along the Lake Constance cycle path. Enjoy a lunch break at the harbor with a view of the lighthouses. The day's stage ends in the festival city of Bregenz. Parking facilities
You can leave your car for your cycling vacation at Lake Constance either at the starting hotel (depending on availability, payable on site) or on free parking spaces on public roads. Furthermore, there is a fenced and locked private parking space for € 60,00 per stay and car (depending on availability, payable on site).
Note for people with limited mobility
The cycle tour is not suitable for people with limited mobility. However, in specific cases it is possible to accommodate individual customer requests (e.g. barrier-free room).
Passport and visa requirements
To check in to your hotel you will need a valid passport or ID card.
For citizens of countries outside the Schengen area other regulations may apply. You are responsible for obtaining any visa you may require in good time.
Terms and Conditions of Payment:
The deposit of 10% of the tour price is due at the latest 14 days after receipt of the booking confirmation. The balance must be paid 14 days before arrival.
Cancellation Policy:
According to our General Terms and Conditions, the customer may withdraw from the contract at any time in writing. In the event of cancellation or non-commencement of travel, the following cancellation fees will become payable:
20% of the tour price up to 28 days before arrival date
30% of the tour price from 27th to 14th day before arrival date
50% of the tour price from 13th to 8th day before arrival date
70% of the tour price from 7th to 4th day before arrival date
90% of the tour price from 3rd day before arrival date to the day of arrival
If the customer makes changes of the date of travel up to 28 days before departure, we will charge a processing fee of € 55,00 per booking. After this date, the cancellation policy will apply. Such changes to a booking may only be made in individual cases and if possible; the customer has no right to any changes.

In case of a booking your announced data will be only used from OÖ Touristik GmbH for the process of bookings and related transactions and will be passed on only in the context of the contractual relationship to third parties. Travelers have to contact the liquidator within 8 weeks if they are denied claims due to the insolvency of OÖ Touristik GmbH. Details on the business license of OÖ Touristik GmbH can be found on the website https://www.gisa.gv.at/abfrage under the GISA number 14930096.
