  • Day 1 - Individual arrival in Constance

Start your cycling holiday on Lake Constance with a stroll through Constance. The lovely city has a lot to offer: the riverside promenade, the Rosgarten Museum and cozy cafés to relax in. Example of hotel: B&B Hotel in Konstanz
  • Day 2 - From Constance to the region Stein am Rhein/Schaffhausen, approx. 30-50 km

The first cycle tour on Lake Constance leads to Switzerland. The picturesque medieval town of Stein am Rhein enraptures visitors. On the banks of the Hochrheins (High Rhine) you cycle to Gailingen and on to Schaffhausen. Example of hotel: Gasthof Hirschen in Gailingen
  • Day 3 - From Stein am Rhein/Schaffhausen to Rheinfall, approx. 15-55 km

On the Rhine cycle route, you will reach a real highlight of your bike tour on Lake Constance early in the morning: the Rhine Falls. The thundering masses of water plunge down 23 meters into the depths. Example of hotel: Gasthof Hirschen in Gailingen
  • Day 4 - From Stein am Rhein/Schaffhausen to Radolfzell, approx. 35-50 km

The bike tour at Lake Constance leads to the home of Hermann Hesse. A visit to the Hermann Hesse House in Gaienhofen is a must-do during your cycle tour in Germany. The painter Otto Dix also chose Gaienhofen as his domicile; his home and studio can be visited today as Museum Haus Dix. Example of hotel: Hotel zur Schmiede in Radolfzell
  • Day 5 - From Radolfzell to Überlingen/Meersburg, approx. 40 km

You cycle along the Lake Constance cycle path to Uhldingen, which is known for its World Cultural Heritage Site of pile dwellings. In the open-air museum in Unteruhldingen, life 10,000 years ago is vividly depicted. Example of hotel: Hotel Ochsen in Überlingen
  • Day 6 - From Überlingen/Meersburg to the region Friedrichshafen, approx. 40 km

Meersburg is a true gem on Lake Constance. Start with a tour of the medieval town to the all-dominating Meersburg Castle. Follow the Lake Constance cycle path in Germany to the Zeppelin city of Friedrichshafen. In the resident Zeppelin Museum, the history of aviation is made tangible. Example of hotel: Gasthof Rebstock
  • Day 7 - From the region Friedrichshafen to Bregenz/Höchst, approx. 35-45 km

While cycling along Lake Constance, you cycle through the largest and most important nature reserve Eriskircher Ried. Extensive vineyards and orchards thrive magnificently in the mild Lake Constance climate. Lindau is suitable for an extended stop on your cycling vacation along the Lake Constance cycle path. Enjoy a lunch break at the harbor with a view of the lighthouses. The day's stage ends in the festival city of Bregenz. Example of hotel: Ibis Styles in St. Margrethen
  • Day 8 - From Bregenz/Höchst with the cable car to the Pfänder

The cable car takes you up to 1,064 meters to the summit of Mt. Pfaender, the local mountain of Bregenz. A perfect panoramic view of the entire Lake Constance and 240 Alpine peaks awaits you. In the afternoon you explore the city on a short bike tour to the Seebühne, Martinsturm and much more. Example of hotel: Ibis Styles in St. Margrethen
  • Day 9 - From Bregenz to the Swiss Shore, approx. 20-45 km

Dreamy lakeside towns on the Swiss shore await your visit during your cycling vacation on Lake Constance. Lake and beach resorts everywhere invite you to take a refreshing dip in the crystal-clear lake water. Example of hotel: Hotel Seelust in Egnach
  • Day 10 - From the Swiss Shore to Constance, approx. 20-35 km

The bike tour in Switzerland leads through extensive orchards back to Constance. End the day leisurely in the city center or on the lakeshore. Example of hotel: B&B Hotel in Konstanz
  • Day 11 - From Constance via Island Mainau and Island Reichenau to Constance approx. 45 km

Two remaining destinations of the bike tour in Germany can still be visited today: The flower island of Mainau, with one of the most beautiful parks in Europe, and the island of Reichenau, which is widely known as a World Heritage Island. Example of hotel: B&B Hotel in Konstanz
  • Day 12 - Individual departure or extra nights

OÖ Touristik GmbH

In 1990 the OÖ Touristik performed a pioneering work on the sector of organised cycle holidays: the first bookable cycle tour along the Danube including luggage transfer. Already a year later we offered the first group tours. Over the years the offers of the cycle holidays has expanded throughout Europe and are as popular as ever. During the last 30 years we have expanded the portfolio on mountain bike tours, cycle holidays by bike and boat, group tours and hiking holidays as well as winter and wellness holidays. The organisation and handling of international congresses and events meanwhile adds to the successful enterprise sections.
