Reiseverlauf - #### Day 1 - Individual arrival in Linz Welcome to Linz! After your individual arrival, you will move into your centrally located hotel and enjoy your first relaxing hours in the city on the Danube. Stroll through the old town, walk along the Danube promenade or treat yourself to a piece of original Linzer Torte in the traditional Café Jindrak. The view of the Danube and the Pöstlingberg is the perfect way to get in the mood for your short break. You can end the evening relaxing with a cozy dinner or a glass of wine. **Example of hotel:** Hotel Arcotel Nike in Linz - #### Day 2 - From Linz to Grein, approx. 60 km Today you cycle through the natural Danube floodplains of the Machland with quiet oxbow lakes and beautiful views of the river. A rest on the nature trail near Au an der Donau offers relaxation in the midst of the original floodplain landscape. In the afternoon you will reach the baroque town of Grein at the entrance to the Nibelungengau. After a stroll through the old town, you can enjoy regional fish specialities or end the day relaxing with a walk along the Danube. **Example of hotel:** Hotel Aumühle in Grein - #### Day 3 - From Grein to Krems, approx. 85 km Today's stage leads through the Nibelungengau and past the imposing Melk Abbey into the picturesque Wachau. Vineyards, apricot gardens, historic wine-growing villages and magnificent views of the Danube accompany your way. In Spitz or Dürnstein, a wine tavern invites you to take an enjoyable break. In the evening, enjoy the special atmosphere of the historic old town of Krems with a glass of Wachau wine. **Example of hotel:** Arte Hotel in Krems - #### Day 4 - From Krems to Vienna, approx. 85 km and individual journey home Finally, the Danube accompanies you through the wide Tullnerfeld to Vienna. On the way, Tulln and the impressive Klosterneuburg Abbey invite you to take a short break. On the last section you cycle relaxed along the Danube to the Austrian capital. If time permits, enjoy a coffee or a typical Viennese dish before heading home. However, in specific cases it is possible to accommodate individual customer requests (e.g. barrier-free room). **Passport and visa requirements** To check in to your hotel you will need a valid passport or ID card. For citizens of countries outside the Schengen area other regulations may apply. You are responsible for obtaining any visa you may require in good time. **Terms and Conditions of Payment:** The deposit of 10% of the tour price is due at the latest 14 days after receipt of the booking confirmation. The balance must be paid 14 days before arrival. **Cancellation Policy:** According to our General Terms and Conditions, the customer may withdraw from the contract at any time in writing. In the event of cancellation or non-commencement of travel, the following cancellation fees will become payable: 20% of the tour price up to 28 days before arrival date 30% of the tour price from 27th to 14th day before arrival date 50% of the tour price from 13th to 8th day before arrival date 70% of the tour price from 7th to 4th day before arrival date 90% of the tour price from 3rd day before arrival date to the day of arrival If the customer makes changes of the date of travel up to 28 days before departure, we will charge a processing fee of € 50,00 per booking.
