During the day, breathtaking mountain bike tours on the Dachstein circuit with great climbs and thrilling descents - in the evening, the comfort of a 4-star hotel with wellness and culinary delights at the foot of the Dachstein massif. After a first feel-good night in Ausseerland Salzkammergut, you climb the Viehbergalm and mountain bike to Gröbming. The hotel indoor pool and a well-stocked wine cellar will tempt tense mountain bike calves and spoiled palates. On the Dachstein circuit up to Ramsau, the breathtaking south faces of the Dachstein open up before heading over to Filzmoos in Salzburg. After an indulgent massage, Pongau specialties fill hungry mountain bike stomachs. Cycling along the peaks of the Gosaukamm, you reach the Inner Salzkammergut on your MTB tour and spend a sociable evening in Gosau. Before you reach the destination of your mountain bike vacation, Bad Aussee, there are magnificent views of Lake Hallstatt and the imposing Dachstein massif.

Day 1 - Individual arrival in Bad Aussee
Your mountain bike tour on the Dachstein circuit starts in picturesque Bad Aussee. Room check-in and handover of the travel documents for your MTB vacation. A leisurely roll-in from Bad Aussee via the Ödensee lake to Bad Mitterndorf. You mountain bike to the Salza reservoir before the Dachstein circuit leads steeply up to the Viehbergalm. Be sure to treat yourself to a rest at the Ritzingerhütte. The descent towards Gröbming should be approached with due caution. This will ensure you reach the day's destination on your Dachstein tour. Alternative route: From Bad Mitterndorf along the B145 to Trautenfels, following the Enns cycle path upstream to Gröbming (-700 m ascent). You roll leisurely through the wide Enns Valley to Weißenbach before the mountain bike route leads up to Ramsau. Here the Dachstein south faces show themselves from their most impressive side. You will be amazed as you mountain bike into the picturesque village of Filzmoos. Relax from your MTB tour in the hotel's wellness area. From Filzmoos, the Dachstein circuit leads steadily up to the Langeggsattel. Again and again, magnificent views open up of the peaks of the Gosaukamm. A long mountain bike descent leads down to Annaberg. Before reaching the day's destination of Gosau, the mountain bike route leads over the Zwieselalm and the Hornspitz in the Dachstein West ski region. End the evening in the hotel sauna and at the hotel bar. Alternative route: From Annaberg out of the valley to Lindenthal, continue on the B166 via Rußbach to Gosau (-400 hm). From Lake Gosau, you cycle up to the picturesque Rossalm before a breathtaking descent through the Echerntal valley to Hallstatt. You cycle through the MTB village of Bad Goisern before the last ascent on the Dachstein circuit takes you to the Pötschenpass. The Dachstein once again shows itself from one of its most beautiful sides and bids you farewell from your mountain bike vacation. Our luggage transport will take your luggage to your hotel in Bad Aussee by 5.30 pm at the latest. The Dachstein Tour Genießer can be started from any overnight accommodation!
Note for people with limited mobility
The cycle tour is not suitable for people with limited mobility. However, in specific cases it is possible to accommodate individual customer requests (e.g. barrier-free room).
Passport and visa requirements
To check in to your hotel you will need a valid passport or ID card.
For citizens of countries outside the Schengen area other regulations may apply. You are responsible for obtaining any visa you may require in good time.
Terms and Conditions of Payment:
The deposit of 10% of the tour price is due at the latest 14 days after receipt of the booking confirmation. The balance must be paid 14 days before arrival.
Cancellation Policy:
According to our General Terms and Conditions, the customer may withdraw from the contract at any time in writing. In the event of cancellation or non-commencement of travel, the following cancellation fees will become payable:
20% of the tour price up to 28 days before arrival date
30% of the tour price from 27th to 14th day before arrival date
50% of the tour price from 13th to 8th day before arrival date
70% of the tour price from 7th to 4th day before arrival date
90% of the tour price from 3rd day before arrival date to the day of arrival
If the customer makes changes to the booking (date of travel, tour, duration, transfer of the booking to another person etc.) up to 28 days before departure, for reasons which are outside our control, we will charge a processing fee of € 50,- per booking. After this date, the cancellation policy will apply. Such changes to a booking may only be made in individual cases and if possible; the customer has no right to any changes.
