Day 1 - Individual arrival in StockholmArrival in Sweden for your cycle holiday. Take your first stroll through Sweden's capital and explore some of the many sights and tourist attractions. In the evening, meet up in the hotel for your welcome briefing and handover of your rented bike. Example of hotel: Hotel Birger Jarl in Stockholm
Day 2 - Stockholm–Södertälje, approx. 60 kmYou start your cycle holiday along an ancient trade route that has existed since the Viking Age. Along Sweden's third largest lake, Lake Mälaren the cycle tour leads to the Uppland onto the Island Lovön. On the way, you pass the World Heritage listed Drottningholm Palace. Here, right on the shore of Lake Mälaren, the royal family grew up. Also located in the grounds is the Chinese Pavilion. You continue by ferry to Södertälje. At Sturehov, located in eastern Lake Mälaren, it is time for a late lunch. Example of hotel: Quality Hotel Park in Södertälje
Day 3 - Södertälje–Mariefred/surroundings, approx. 45 kmToday you cycle on small side roads to Gripsholm Castle. Kurt Tucholsky, who lived in Exile in Sweden and was buried in Mariefred, named one of his works after the castle. You continue to today's destination, Strängnäs. Day 4 - Mariefred/surroundings–Järna, approx. 60 kmAfter breakfast transport to Åkers styckebruk, where today's bike ride starts. Today's tour takes you right into the middle of untouched and remote nature reserves, through the amazing scenery of Sörmland. At this spot countless rivers and lakes, were formed, due to vast tectonic movements. Nevertheless, the altitude is never higher than 100m. Once you have mastered the hills you are-rewarded with stunning views and a long descent afterwards. Your hotel is located in the small town of Järna with its world famous Anthroposophy village. Day 5 - Järna–Trosa, approx. 35 kmYour destination for the day is the idyllic Baltic Sea town of Trosa, the setting for many films. In one of the little restaurants, we recommend you to try some of the amazing local seafood like salmon or smoked fish. Example of hotel: Trosa Stadshotell & Spa in Trosa
Day 6 - Trosa–Stockholm, approx. 55 kmNorthward bound and a short ferry trip later you return to one of Stockholm's many islands. Top tip: Take the commuter train to Stockholm centre and in the afternoon cycle on lovely flat cycle paths along the water to Stockholm's Southern Island of Södermalm. Day 7 - Individual departure or extra nights
Note for people with limited mobility
The cycle tour is not suitable for people with limited mobility. However, in specific cases it is possible to accommodate individual customer requests (e.g. barrier-free room).
Passport and visa requirements
To check in to your hotel you will need a valid passport or ID card.
For citizens of countries outside the Schengen area other regulations may apply. You are responsible for obtaining any visa you may require in good time.
Terms and Conditions of Payment:
The deposit of 10% of the tour price is due at the latest 14 days after receipt of the booking confirmation. The balance must be paid 7 days before arrival.
The general travel conditions of 1992 apply with following cancellation conditions: Prior to arrival the customer can cancel in written form at any time the booked arrangement. In case of cancellation or no show we charge following fees:
20% of the tour price up to 28 days before arrival date
30% of the tour price from 27th to 14th day before arrival date
50% of the tour price from 13th to 8th day before arrival date
70% of the tour price from 7th to 4th day before arrival date
90% of the tour price from 3rd day before arrival date to the day of arrival or “no show”
In case the booking is changed from the customer himself (change of date, duration of the tour or participant) up to 28 days prior arrival, a handling fee of € 50,- per booking is charged.
Thereafter the previous cancellation conditions apply. Such a change of booking is only in individual cases a possibility customers do not have a claim on it.

In case of a booking your announced data will be only used from OÖ Touristik GmbH for the process of bookings and related transactions and will be passed on only in the context of the contractual relationship to third parties. The combination of travel services offered to you is a package within the meaning of Directive (EU) 2015/2302.
This ensures that you will benefit from all EU rights applicable to packages. Company OÖ Touristik GmbH will be fully responsible for the proper performance of the package as a whole.
Additionally, as required by law, the company OÖ Touristik GmbH has protection in place to refund your payments and, where transport is included in the package, to ensure your repatriation in the event that it becomes insolvent.
