Itinerary
  • Day 1 - Individual arrival in Trier

    You begin with your cycling tour along the Moselle cycling path in Trier. Plan some spare time exploring this beautiful town with its oldest and best conserved Roman gate the ‘Porta Nigra` before your cycle tour starts. You receive your rented bike at your starting hotel.   • Day 2 - Trier–Trittenheim, approx. 40 km

    Cycling along the Moselle cycle path, continue to Trittenheim, where a natural trail introduces the man-year of a winegrower, local grape varieties and the upbringing of the grapes. In the evening we recommend tasting some of the delicious local wine. Hotelbeispiel: guest house Moselkloster in Trittenheim
  • Day 3 - Trittenheim–Zeltingen, approx. 36 km

    Today your bike tour leads along the Moselle cycle path via Neumagen-Dhron, the eldest wine-growing village of Germany, through lovely small villages to Bernkastel-Kues and in the afternoon to Zeltingen. Hotelbeispiel: Kathis Wein - und Gästehaus in Zeltingen
  • Day 4 - Zeltingen–Zell, approx. 35 km

    Enjoy cycling through the winegrowing area of “Kröver Nacktarsch” to Traben-Trabach and if you like, relax during a boat trip on the Moselle. After a break in the romantic town of Enkirch, a jewel of framework architecture today's bike tour along the Moselle cycle path ends in Zell. Hotelbeispiel: Cafe im Hamm in Zell
  • Day 5 - Zell–Treis-Karden, approx. 47 km

    After breakfast your cycle route leads via Beilstein, the so-called ”Rothenburg of River Moselle”, to Cochem, with the picturesque center and the 11th century old Castle Reichsburg. Hotelbeispiel: guest house Weingut Knaup in Treis-Karden
  • Day 6 - Treis-Karden–Koblenz, approx. 42 km

    Today visit the magnificent Castle Eltz before cycling the last kilometers through the beautiful Moselle Valley to Koblenz. Hotelbeispiel: City Hotel Hamm in Koblenz
  • Day 7 - Individual departure or extra nights

    Return from your cycling holidays by train or by bus from Koblenz to Trier (daily from 9 am, duration approx. 2hrs, please see rates below for more details).
Detail Information

Note for people with limited mobility
The cycle tour is not suitable for people with limited mobility. However, in specific cases it is possible to accommodate individual customer requests (e.g. barrier-free room).

Passport and visa requirements
To check in to your hotel you will need a valid passport or ID card.
For citizens of countries outside the Schengen area other regulations may apply. You are responsible for obtaining any visa you may require in good time.

Terms and Conditions of Payment:
The deposit of 10% of the tour price is due at the latest 14 days after receipt of the booking confirmation. The balance must be paid 7 days before arrival.

Cancellation Policy:
The general travel conditions of 1992 apply with following cancellation conditions: Prior to arrival the customer can cancel in written form at any time the booked arrangement. In case of cancellation or no show we charge following fees:
20% of the tour price up to 28 days before arrival date
30% of the tour price from 27th to 14th day before arrival date
50% of the tour price from 13th to 8th day before arrival date
70% of the tour price from 7th to 4th day before arrival date
90% of the tour price from 3rd day before arrival date to the day of arrival or “no show”

In case the booking is changed from the customer himself (change of date, duration of the tour or participant) up to 28 days prior arrival, a handling fee of € 50,- per booking is charged.
Thereafter the previous cancellation conditions apply. Such a change of booking is only in individual cases a possibility customers do not have a claim on it.

In 1990 the OÖ Touristik performed a pioneering work on the sector of organised cycle holidays: the first bookable cycle tour along the Danube including luggage transfer. Already a year later we offered the first group tours. Over the years the offers of the cycle holidays has expanded throughout Europe and are as popular as ever. During the last 30 years we have expanded the portfolio on mountain bike tours, cycle holidays by bike and boat, group tours and hiking holidays as well as winter and wellness holidays. The organisation and handling of international congresses and events meanwhile adds to the successful enterprise sections.
