  • Day 1 - Individual arrival in Amersfoort

    After arrival for your Dutch cycle holidays, enjoy a relaxing stroll through the lovely lanes of Amersfoort. Example of hotel: Berghotel Amersfoort in Amersfoort
  • Day 2 - From Amersfoort to Amsterdam, approx. 65 km

    Today your cycling tour leads via Naarden-Vesting, Europe's best-preserved fortress complex after Amsterdam and you cycle via the Ijsselmeer. In Amsterdam, well known for its canals (UNESCO world heritage), do not miss to enjoy a canal round trip during your cycling tour in Holland. For everybody who is interested in culture a visit of the Reichsmuseum or the Van Gogh Museum is recommendable. Example of hotel: NH Hotel Amsterdam Zuid in Amsterdam
  • Day 3 - From Amsterdam to Zandvoort/Noordwijkerhout, approx. 55 km

    Today your bike tour continues to Haarlem, a popular Dutch town, a stroll around the Frans Hals Museum or the famous picturesque “Hofjes” is recommendable. Continue your bike route to “Keukenhof”, a magnificent garden complex, offering while the tulips blossom a unique beauty. In case you stay during your cycle holiday in Zandvoort, the Keukenhof will be visited on day 4. Example of hotel: NH Leeuwenhorst in Noordwijkerhout
  • Day 4 - From Zandvoort/Noordwijkerhout to Den Haag/Delft, approx. 45-60 km

    On the 3rd day of cycling you will pass Leiden, famous for its renowned university. Other famous sights are the Reichsmuseum or the St. Petrikirche. Afterwards you get back on the saddle and continue the cycle tour in Holland to Den Haag, where the seat of the Dutch government is located. In Den Haag, the “Catshuis' or “Paleis Noordeinde' or the “Mauritshuis' attract visitors. Or you can walk through the centre and enjoy the beauty of the canals.   • Day 5 - From Den Haag/Delft to Papendrecht, approx. 65 km

    At the beginning of your cycle route from Den Haag, you cycle past Delft, one of the oldest Dutch towns. Afterwards you continue via Kinderdijk, known for its windmills before you reach Papendrecht. Example of hotel: Apollo Hotel Papendrecht in Papendrecht
  • Day 6 - From Papendrecht to Utrecht, approx. 60 km

    Via the romantic, typical Dutch small village Schoonhoven, you cycle along your cycle holidays in Holland to Utrecht. The gold-, silver- and watch museum is worth a visit and your final destination for today is Utrecht, fourth biggest town of Holland. Utrecht also has canals and if you are interested in culture, you should visit the Centraal Museum. Example of hotel: NH Utrecht in Utrecht
  • Day 7 - From Utrecht to Amersfoort, approx. 45 km

We are constantly monitoring the current situation and are in close contact with official authorities. In the event of travel changes, we will inform you immediately. If an official travel warning is issued on your arrival date for your destination or your home town, you can of course cancel your trip free of charge or change your booking to another date.

Note for people with limited mobility
The cycle tour is not suitable for people with limited mobility. However, in specific cases it is possible to accommodate individual customer requests (e.g. barrier-free room).

Passport and visa requirements
To check in to your hotel you will need a valid passport or ID card.
For citizens of countries outside the Schengen area other regulations may apply. You are responsible for obtaining any visa you may require in good time.

Terms and Conditions of Payment:
The deposit of 10% of the tour price is due at the latest 14 days after receipt of the booking confirmation. The balance must be paid 14 days before arrival.

Cancellation Policy:
According to our General Terms and Conditions, the customer may withdraw from the contract at any time in writing. In the event of cancellation or non-commencement of travel, the following cancellation fees will become payable:
20% of the tour price up to 28 days before arrival date
30% of the tour price from 27th to 14th day before arrival date
50% of the tour price from 13th to 8th day before arrival date
70% of the tour price from 7th to 4th day before arrival date
90% of the tour price from 3rd day before arrival date to the day of arrival

If the customer makes changes to the booking (date of travel, tour, duration, transfer of the booking to another person etc.) up to 28 days before departure, for reasons which are outside our control, we will charge a processing fee of € 50,- per booking. After this date, the cancellation policy will apply. Such changes to a booking may only be made in individual cases and if possible; the customer has no right to any changes.

OÖ Touristik GmbH

In 1990 the OÖ Touristik performed a pioneering work on the sector of organised cycle holidays: the first bookable cycle tour along the Danube including luggage transfer. Already a year later we offered the first group tours. Over the years the offers of the cycle holidays has expanded throughout Europe and are as popular as ever. During the last 30 years we have expanded the portfolio on mountain bike tours, cycle holidays by bike and boat, group tours and hiking holidays as well as winter and wellness holidays.
