As the shore of Lake Constance is largely open to the public, there are numerous opportunities to take a short break from swimming.

Itinerary

Day 1 - Individual arrival in Bregenz/surrounding
Arrival at your cycling holiday on the Lake Constance Cycle Path. Your starting hotel is in Bregenz or in the surrounding area. During the festival period (17.07.-18.08.) you can stay in towns in the immediate vicinity (e.g. Wolfurt, Hard, Dornbirn & Lustenau). Example of hotel: Hotel Ibis in Bregenz
Day 2 - From Bregenz to Güttingen/Egnach, approx. 45 km
Bregenz is a festival city. After the start of your first cycle tour on the Lake Constance cycle path, you will pass the lake stage and the festival theatre. Shortly afterwards, you will have your first opportunity to take a dip in the water. You cycle through the Altenrhein-Mündung nature reserve and cross the Swiss border. Day 3 - From Güttingen/Egnach to Constance/Kreuzlingen, approx. 35 km
During the cycling tour in Switzerland, you will get to know the island of Reichenau (UNESCO World Heritage Site). The last kilometres of the day literally fly by and you have already reached the stage destination Constance. End this stage with a stroll through the old town or an ice cream at the harbour of Constance. Example of hotel: Hotel Graf Zeppelin in Konstanz
Day 4 - From Constance/Kreuzlingen to Friedrichshafen, approx. 35 km
For all those who are in the mood for a cycling holiday on Lake Constance: There is plenty of time to explore the flower island of Mainau. Take the ferry from Staad to Meersburg. From now on, get back in the saddle and cycle leisurely along the flat Lake Constance cycle path - always along the shore - to Friedrichshafen, where a visit to the Zeppelin Museum is worthwhile. Tip: A detour on the bike tour in Baden-Würtemberg to Uhldingen is a good idea. Only 10 kilometres and the world of pile dwellings invites you to explore. Day 5 - From Friedrichshafen to Bregenz/Umgebung, approx. 35 km
The cycling tour in Germany leads via Langenargen and Wasserburg to Lindau in Bavaria, where the harbour is a popular stop on cycling holidays on Lake Constance. Now it is only a few kilometres to Bregenz. Example of hotel: Hotel Ibis in Bregenz
Day 6 - Individual departure or extra nights

Parking facilities
Free, unguarded parking on the outskirts of the city. Chargeable parking garages in the city centre (approx. € 150.00/week).

Security for your booking
As a tour operator, the safety, well-being and health of our customers are top priorities for us. We are constantly monitoring the current situation and are in close contact with official authorities. In the event of travel changes, we will inform you immediately. If an official travel warning is issued on your arrival date for your destination or your home town, you can of course cancel your trip free of charge or change your booking to another date.

Note for people with limited mobility
The cycle tour is not suitable for people with limited mobility. However, in specific cases it is possible to accommodate individual customer requests (e.g. barrier-free room).

Passport and visa requirements
To check in to your hotel you will need a valid passport or ID card.
For citizens of countries outside the Schengen area other regulations may apply. You are responsible for obtaining any visa you may require in good time.

Terms and Conditions of Payment:
The deposit of 10% of the tour price is due at the latest 14 days after receipt of the booking confirmation. The balance must be paid 14 days before arrival.

Cancellation Policy:
According to our General Terms and Conditions, the customer may withdraw from the contract at any time in writing. In the event of cancellation or non-commencement of travel, the following cancellation fees will become payable:
20% of the tour price up to the 28th day before departure
30% of the tour price from 27th to 14th day before departure
50% of the tour price from the 13th to the 8th day before departure
70% of the tour price from 7th to 4th day before departure
90% of the tour price from the 3rd day before departure until the day of arrival

If the customer makes changes to the booking (date of travel, tour, duration, transfer of the booking to another person etc.) up to 28 days before departure, for reasons which are outside our control, we will charge a processing fee of € 50,- per booking. After this date, the cancellation policy will apply. Such changes to a booking may only be made in individual cases and if possible; the customer has no right to any changes.

The combination of travel services offered to you is a package within the meaning of Directive (EU) 2015/2302.
This ensures that you will benefit from all EU rights applicable to packages. OÖ Touristik GmbH will be fully responsible for the proper performance of the package.
As per law in the event of insolvency of OÖ Touristik GmbH the company refunds payments already made and additionally takes care of return transport, if originally included.

The liquidator is the Europäische Reiseversicherung AG, Kratochwjlestraße 4, 1220 Wien, Email: info@europaeische.at, 24-hour emergency number: +43 1 3172500.
Travelers have to contact the liquidator within 8 weeks if they are denied claims due to the insolvency of OÖ Touristik GmbH. Details on the business license of OÖ Touristik GmbH can be found on the website https://www.gisa.gv.at/abfrage under the GISA number 14930096.
