A cycle tour at Lake Constance is a special experience. The daily cycle tours in Germany, Austria and Switzerland lead you trough appealing towns, past fortresses and castles. The cycling track at Lake Constance takes you to the river bank trough vineyards and fruit orchards with nice views to pre-alpine landscape – nearly on cycle paths off the city's streets only.

Day 1 - Individual arrival in Konstanz
After your arrival at Lake Constance check out the famous “flower island” Mainau. Or take a stroll around the old town of Konstanz with its aquariums of the Sea Life Center and the archeological museum. The car ferry takes you from Konstanz to Meersburg. Through the vineyards you cycle to the „zeppelin-town“ Friedrichshafen, home of the zeppelin museum. You continue your ride through extended fruit orchards to Kressbronn. Hotel examples:Schattmaier in KressbronnDay 3 - Wellness, swimming and sailing
Today it's getting leisurely - whether it's wellness at the hotel, or at the nearby bathing beach, or exploring the beautiful town center. In the evening you will board a sailing ship and explore Lake Constance under the guidance of an experienced skipper. Enjoy the approximately 2-hour sailing trip and come to enjoy a delicious 3-course meal.Day 4 - Excursion to Bregenz, approx. 50 km
First stop at your cycle tour is the Bavarian Lindau, where you absolutely should stroll from the old town to the harbour. Now you just have a few more kilometers left to reach Bregenz in Austia. The city is famous for its annual festival on the biggest lake stage in the world.Day 5 - Kressbronn–Friedrichshafen–Romanshorn–Konstanz, approx. 35 km + ferry
You cycle in Germany along the lake back to Friedrichshafen where you board the car ferry to Romanshorn in Switzerland. On the cycling track by the lake you finally reach Konstanz again. You pass idyllic bathing bays where you could refresh yourself on your cycling tour in Switzerland.Day 6 - Konstanz–Überlingen–Meersburg–Konstanz, approx. 35 km + boat, ferry and canoe ride
Your bike tour in Germany leads you to Wallhausen, passing the “flower island” Mainau. In Wallhausen you board a canoe and get the opportunity to paddle on Lake Constance for three hours. Insider tip: Paddle on Lake Constance to “Marien canyon“ and to 'devils table', an impressive underwarter rock formation. Back to Wallhausen you board a ship with final destination Überlingen. Your cycle tour at Lake Constance leads you to the medieval Meersburg, passing Uhldingen. In Meersburg you will board the car ferry to go back to Konstanz.Day 7 - Konstanz–Reichenau island–Stein am Rhein–Konstanz, approx. 50 km + boat ride
The final stage of your cycling holiday in Germany leads you to Reichenau island, a famous UNESCO world heritage. Per boat you will go to the peninsula Höri. On the cycle path to Hochrhein in Switzerland you will reach the medieval town Stein am Rhein, known for its fresco painted buildings. Cycling along the lakeside you will return to Kontanz.Day 8 - Individual departure
After breakfast you will return home from your cycling holidays at Lake Constance.
Parking possibilities
You can leave your car for your cycling holiday at Lake Constance either at the starting hotel (depending on availability, subject to a charge, details in the travel documents) or in public car parks (costs approx. € 20,00/day). Furthermore, there is a fenced and locked private parking space for € 45,00 per stay and car (this parking space must be reserved and paid for in advance).
Note for people with limited mobility
The cycle tour is not suitable for people with limited mobility. However, in specific cases it is possible to accommodate individual customer requests (e.g. barrier-free room).
Passport and visa requirements
To check in to your hotel you will need a valid passport or ID card.
For citizens of countries outside the Schengen area other regulations may apply. You are responsible for obtaining any visa you may require in good time.
Terms and Conditions of Payment:
The deposit of 10% of the tour price is due at the latest 14 days after receipt of the booking confirmation. The balance must be paid 14 days before arrival.
Cancellation Policy:
According to our General Terms and Conditions, the customer may withdraw from the contract at any time in writing. In the event of cancellation or non-commencement of travel, the following cancellation fees will become payable:
20% of the tour price up to the 28th day before departure
30% of the tour price from 27th to 14th day before departure
50% of the tour price from the 13th to the 8th day before departure
70% of the tour price from 7th to 4th day before departure
90% of the tour price from the 3rd day before departure until the day of arrival
If the customer makes changes to the booking (date of travel, tour, duration, transfer of the booking to another person etc.) up to 28 days before departure, for reasons which are outside our control, we will charge a processing fee of € 50,- per booking. After this date, the cancellation policy will apply. Such changes to a booking may only be made in individual cases and if possible; the customer has no right to any changes.

In case of a booking your announced data will be only used from OÖ Touristik GmbH for the process of bookings and related transactions and will be passed on only in the context of the contractual relationship to third parties. This ensures that you will benefit from all EU rights applicable to packages. Company OÖ Touristik GmbH will be fully responsible for the proper performance of the package as a whole.
Additionally, as required by law, the company OÖ Touristik GmbH has protection in place to refund your payments and, where transport is included in the package, to ensure your repatriation in the event that it becomes insolvent.

The liquidator is the Europäische Reiseversicherung AG, Kratochwjlestraße 4, 1220 Wien, Email: info@europaeische.at, 24-hour emergency number: +43 1 3172500.
Travelers have to contact the liquidator within 8 weeks if they are denied claims due to the insolvency of OÖ Touristik GmbH. Details on the business license of OÖ Touristik GmbH can be found on the website https://www.gisa.gv.at/abfrage under the GISA number 14930096.
