  • Day 2 - Bolzano–Trento, approx. 65–70 km

Your cycling tour in South Tyrol takes you along the Adige cycle path. Passing orchards and vineyards of the lowlands. The stage can be shorten up by train in several stations. Example of hotel: Hotel Garni Venezia in Trento
  • Day 3 - Trento–Desenzano/Peschiera, approx. 50 km + boat trip

On the Adige cycle path you reach Rovereto, the city with the famous Museum of Contemporary Art. From here it goes westwards to Lake Garda on your bike tour in Italy. After a short climb up to the San Giorgio Pass, from where the breathtaking descent of your cycling holiday begins, giving you a spectacular view of Lake Garda and the city of Torbole. From Riva del Garda you continue on your cycling tour by boat to the south of the lake. Example of hotel: Hotel Bonotto in Desenzano
  • Day 4 - Desenzano/Peschiera–Verona, approx. 35–60 km

After the gentle hills that surround Lake Garda, you will meet the Adige River again on your bike tour in Italy. You cycle to Verona, one of the most important cities of Veneto. A visit to the Roman arena, the church of San Zeno and the balcony of the famous love scene of Romeo and Juliet are recommendable on your cycling holidays. Example of hotel: Hotel Porta Palio in Verona

In the countryside of Verona you start your cycle route in Italy along the foot of the Lessine Mountains, where you reach the castle of Soave in the middle of the vineyards. On the Rocca di Brendola in the Berici Hill your bike tour leads to Vicenza, the little jewel with the buildings of Andrea Palladio, who was one of the most famous architects of the XVI century. If today's cycling tour is too long for you, you can take the train in San Bonifacio to shorten it up. Example of hotel: Albergo San Raffaele in Vicenza
  • Day 6 - Vicenza–thermal area Padua, approx. 50 km

You leave Vicenza and cycle along the River Bacchiglione, where you can admire the beautiful Villa Rotonda, the parade of the Palladio, and Villa Valmarana with the frescoes of Tiepolo. After the village of Montegalda, your bike tour continues towards the Euganean hills, where a relaxing evening awaits you in a resort in one of Europe's largest spa areas. It is possible to stay overnight directly in Padua with a surcharge. Example of hotel: Casa del Pellegrino in Padua
  • Day 7 - Thermal area of Padua–Mestre/Venice, approx. 55 km

The cycle path in Italy leads along the Brenta Canal, which is lined with enchanting landscapes and magnificent mansions of the Venetian nobility. You continue to Mestre, the mainland of Venice. You can decide, whether you want to spend the last night of your bike trip in Italy directly in Venice for an extra surcharge. In Venice, the city of canals and bridges, it is forbidden to ride or push a bike. You can only ride your bikes to Piazzale Roma or Santa Lucia station. Example of hotel: Hotel Venezia in Mestre

OÖ Touristik GmbH

In 1990 the OÖ Touristik performed a pioneering work on the sector of organised cycle holidays: the first bookable cycle tour along the Danube including luggage transfer. Already a year later we offered the first group tours. Over the years the offers of the cycle holidays has expanded throughout Europe and are as popular as ever. During the last 30 years we have expanded the portfolio on mountain bike tours, cycle holidays by bike and boat, group tours and hiking holidays as well as winter and wellness holidays. The organisation and handling of international congresses and events meanwhile adds to the successful enterprise sections.
