Itinerary
  • Day 1 - Individual arrival in Innsbruck

    Check-in and take the opportunity to visit Innsbruck's famous landmark the golden roof, “Goldenes Dachl” in the old quarter. Example of hotel: Austria Trend Hotel Congress in Innsbruck
  • Day 2 - Innsbruck–Bressanone, approx. 55 km by bike, 40 km by transfer

    A private transfer will take you to Brennero, where your cycling tour starts into the green Isarco valley. You cycle through nice villages and green meadows till Fortezza, where you will see the ancient fort. Lake Varna awaits you for a relaxing break before you reach Bressanone.   • Day 3 - Bressanone–Bolzano, approx. 45 km

    Today's bike tour in Italy is rather short. You have the opportunity to visit the Sabiona medieval monastery, one of the oldest pilgrimage places in South Tyrol and built on a rocky-hill and dominating the Isarco-valley. Example of hotel: Hotel Magdalenerhof in Bolzano
  • Day 4 - Bolzano–Trento approx. 65–70 km

    During your cycle tour in South Tyrol follow the Adige River, through orchards and vineyards, passing the villages of Ora, Egna and Salorno. The dam pathways lead then to Trento. Example of hotel: NH Hotel Trento
  • Day 5 - Trento–Desenzano/Peschiera 50 km by bike + boat trip

    Along the Adige cycle path you reach Rovereto and Mori. From here your cycling tour in Italy leads westwards to Lake Garda. After a short ascent, a refreshing descent follows and leads to Torbole and Riva. By boat you cross over to the south lakeside. Example of hotel: Hotel Puccini in Peschiera
  • Day 6 - Desenzano/Peschiera–Verona, approx. 35–60 km

    Today cycle to Verona, one stop during your cycle holiday in Italy. The city, located on Adige's riverside counts to one of the most beautiful cities in Veneto. Well worth visiting are the Roman Arena, the Church of San Zeno and the balcony of the tragedy of Romeo and Juliet in Shakespeare's love scene. Example of hotel: Roseo Hotel Leon d'Oro in Verona
  • Day 7 - Verona–Vicenza, approx. 35–70 km

    At first your cycling tour starts out flat and continues through the Monti Berici, a hilly region south of Vicenza. Enjoy the magnificent view across the city. The old city center is characterized by the beautiful private palaces and public buildings by Andrea Palladio, the famous 16th century architect known all over the world. The ones who consider this stage too long can take a train from several railway station. Example of hotel: Hotel De La Ville in Vicenza
  • Day 8 - Vicenza–Padua, approx. 50 km

    Leaving Vicenza you cycle past the beautiful Palladian Villa Rotonda always along the River Bacchiglione. The cycle tour in Italy leads to the fascinating city of Padua with its famous Giotto's Chapel and one of Europe's biggest squares “Prato della Valle”. Example of hotel: Hotel Sporting in Galzignano
  • Day 9 - Padua–Mestre/Venice, approx. 55 km

    Along the flat area the cycle path in Italy continues through of Venetian. You cycle along the Brenta Canal past the beautiful landscape and the splendid villas of the ancient Venetian nobility. You reach Mestre, Venice's mainland. You can stay directly in Venice for an extra surcharge. Example of hotel: Hotel ai Pini in Mestre

OÖ Touristik GmbH

In 1990 the OÖ Touristik performed a pioneering work on the sector of organised cycle holidays: the first bookable cycle tour along the Danube including luggage transfer. Already a year later we offered the first group tours. Over the years the offers of the cycle holidays has expanded throughout Europe and are as popular as ever. During the last 25 years we have expanded the portfolio on mountain bike tours, cycle holidays by bike and boat, group tours and hiking holidays as well as winter and wellness holidays. The organisation and handling of international congresses and events meanwhile adds to the successful enterprise sections.
