Itinerary

Day 1 - Individual journey to Ambach
Hotel example: Hotel Huber am See
Day 2 - Trip around Lake Starnberg, approx. 50 km
You cycle via Seeshaupt and Bernried in the direction of Feldafing. Cycle along the lake via Starnberg to Ambach.
Day 3 - Trip to Bad Tölz, approx. 60 km
You cycle via Königsdorf to the spa town of Bad Tölz (Marktstraße, Kurpark, local history museum, etc.). Take a short break by the glacier-green Isar before cycling back towards Lake Starnberg.
Day 4 - Trip to Riegsee & Murnau am Staffelsee, approx. 60 km
You leave Ambach and soon pass the romantic Riegsee lake and the artists' town of Murnau am Staffelsee. The colourful pedestrian zone is full of life. Your cycle holiday takes you back to the hotel in Ambach via the Osterseen lakes.
Day 5 - Trip to Munich, approx. 50 km
Cycle along the Isar cycle path directly to the capital of Bavaria. Make the most of your time in Munich, e.g. to savour the whole variety of spices in the renowned Schuhbeck shop (voucher included). You will also visit the Frauenkirche, Munich's landmark. Take the tower ascent to the south tower (incl.) and enjoy the view over the city. Return by train to Seeshaupt (on your own) and cycle back to the hotel.
Day 6 - Excursion to Lake Ammersee & Andechs Monastery, approx. 60 km
Today's destination is one of the most beautiful monasteries in Bavaria, Andechs Abbey. A guided tour through the historic walls is almost a must. You then cycle back through the Tutzing hinterland and take the boat (on your own) from Tutzing to Ambach.

This family-run hotel is in an idyllic and quiet location in Ambach with a marvellous view of the mountains. At the same time, you can enjoy the direct location on Lake Starnberg with its own bathing beach. Excellent Bavarian cuisine, a shady beer garden and a small wellness area round off the offer.

Hotel note: We make every effort to book the hotel mentioned by name. However, if it is not available, we will switch to an equivalent establishment.

Free hotel car park available; advance reservation not possible.

Note for people with limited mobility
The cycle tour is not suitable for people with limited mobility. However, in specific cases it is possible to accommodate individual customer requests (e.g. barrier-free room).

Passport and visa requirements
To check in to your hotel you will need a valid passport or ID card.
For citizens of countries outside the Schengen area other regulations may apply. You are responsible for obtaining any visa you may require in good time.

Terms and Conditions of Payment:
The deposit of 10% of the tour price is due at the latest 14 days after receipt of the booking confirmation. The balance must be paid 14 days before arrival.

Cancellation Policy:
According to our General Terms and Conditions, the customer may withdraw from the contract at any time in writing. In the event of cancellation or non-commencement of travel, the following cancellation fees will become payable:
20% of the tour price up to the 28th day before departure
30% of the tour price from 27th to 14th day before departure
50% of the tour price from the 13th to the 8th day before departure
70% of the tour price from 7th to 4th day before departure
90% of the tour price from the 3rd day before departure until the day of arrival

If the customer makes changes of the date of travel up to 28 days before departure, we will charge a processing fee of € 55,00 per booking. After this date, the cancellation policy will apply. Such changes to a booking may only be made in individual cases and if possible; the customer has no right to any changes.

As per law in the event of insolvency of OÖ Touristik GmbH the company refunds payments already made and additionally takes care of return transport, if originally included.
