  • Day 1 - Individual arrival in Munich

    Information and handover of your rented bike for your cycle holiday in Germany, before discovering some of Munich's countless sights: English Garden, Town Hall, Hofbräuhaus and much more. Example of hotel: Hotel Holiday Inn**** in Munich
  • Day 2 - From Munich to Lake Starnberger See, approx. 60 km

    The first cycling day along the River Isar cycle path leads from Munich via Lake Weßlinger and Lake Pilsensee to Lake Ammersee, third biggest lake in Bavaria. During your bike tour a stop in Herrsching is recommended, where you can enjoy the splendid view onto the lake. Continue past the Andechs Monastery to the Starnberger Lake and if you like to cycle more leisurely you can cycle directly to the Starnberger Lake.   • Day 3 - From Lake Starnberger See to Staffelsee/Kochelsee, approx. 45 km

    Follow the lakeside of the Lake Starnberger See and before you reach Seeshaupt, there is a nice bath place, where you can cool off. The magnificent view across the romantic Lake Riegsee is an insider tip. Example of hotels: Gasthof zum Stern at Seehausen
  • Day 4 - From Murnau/Seehausen via Garmisch-Partenkirchen to Staffelsee/Kochelsee, approx. 40 km + train ride

    In the morning you cycle to Central Europe's largest moor area. The Murnauer Moos originated after the last ice age. Along the River Loisach you continue to Garmisch-Partenkirchen. During your cycle tour along the River Isar cycle path you have the option to go up with the Zugspitzbahn rack railway on Germany's highest summit and enjoy the unique mountain scenery. Afterwards return by train (incl. in the package rate) to the Lake Staffelsee. Hotelbeispiel: Gasthof zum Stern **** in Seehausen
  • Day 5 - From Staffelsee/Kochelsee to Bad Tölz, approx. 45 km

    Along the Lake Constance/Lake Königssee cycle path you cycle today to Lake Kochelsee and continue via Beneditkbeuern and Bad Heilbrunn to Bad Tölz. This beautiful health resort with the love to tradition and to the native country is here still a lived everyday life. Example of hotel:Hotel Tölzer Hof**** in Bad Tölz
  • Day 6 - From Bad Tölz to Tegernsee, approx. 20-60 km

    Today you have the possibility to choose between a cycle tour directly to Tegernsee or via the fjord like Sylvensteinstausee (water reservoir). For cyclists, who like to cycle comfortable is the bike tour directly along the cycle path to Tegernsee (approx. 20 km) and then around Lake Tegernsee (+ approx. 20 km). For very sporty cyclists or mountain bike ambitious ones is the stage along the River Isar to the fjord like Sylvensteinstausse and via the Achenpass to Tegernsee (approx. 60 km).   • Day 7 - From Tegernsee to Munich, approx. 65 km

    You return from Tegernsee along the cycle path Via Bavarica Tyrolensis to the capital of Bavaria, Munich. You can shorten today's distance (own arrangement) with the Oberlandbahn (train) for approx. 25 km. Example of hotel: Hotel Holiday Inn**** in Munich
  • Day 8 - Individual departure or extra nights

Parking facilities
You can park your car in the hotel garage for approx. € 10.00 to € 15.00 per day (no reservation possible).
Alternatively, there are also very cheap P+R long-term parking spaces in Munich.

Security for your booking:
As a tour operator, the safety, well-being and health of our customers are top priorities for us. We are constantly monitoring the current situation and are in close contact with official authorities. In the event of travel changes, we will inform you immediately. If an official travel warning is issued on your arrival date for your destination or your home town, you can of course cancel your trip free of charge or change your booking to another date.

Note for people with limited mobility
The cycle tour is not suitable for people with limited mobility. However, in specific cases it is possible to accommodate individual customer requests (e.g. barrier-free room).

Passport and visa requirements
To check in to your hotel you will need a valid passport or ID card.
For citizens of countries outside the Schengen area other regulations may apply. You are responsible for obtaining any visa you may require in good time.

Terms and Conditions of Payment:
The deposit of 10% of the tour price is due at the latest 14 days after receipt of the booking confirmation. The balance must be paid 7 days before arrival.

Cancellation Policy:
According to our General Terms and Conditions, the customer may withdraw from the contract at any time in writing. In the event of cancellation or non-commencement of travel, the following cancellation fees will become payable:
20% of the tour price up to 28 days before arrival date
30% of the tour price from 27th to 14th day before arrival date
50% of the tour price from 13th to 8th day before arrival date
70% of the tour price from 7th to 4th day before arrival date
90% of the tour price from 3rd day before arrival date to the day of arrival

If the customer makes changes to the booking (date of travel, tour, duration, transfer of the booking to another person etc.) up to 28 days before departure, for reasons which are outside our control, we will charge a processing fee of € 50,- per booking. After this date, the cancellation policy will apply. Such changes to a booking may only be made in individual cases and if possible; the customer has no right to any changes.

This ensures that you will benefit from all EU rights applicable to packages. Company OÖ Touristik GmbH will be fully responsible for the proper performance of the package as a whole.

In 1990 the OÖ Touristik performed a pioneering work on the sector of organised cycle holidays: the first bookable cycle tour along the Danube including luggage transfer. Already a year later we offered the first group tours. Over the years the offers of the cycle holidays has expanded throughout Europe and are as popular as ever. During the last 30 years we have expanded the portfolio on mountain bike tours, cycle holidays by bike and boat, group tours and hiking holidays as well as winter and wellness holidays. The organisation and handling of international congresses and events meanwhile adds to the successful enterprise sections.
