While cycling in Styria and Upper Austria you enjoy regional delicacies such as alp cheese, Styrian wine and a traditional snack at a farm and at the end original Linzer Torte. Besides the culinary highlights, the tour offers splendid natural experiences along the River Enns between Radstadt and Linz. You cycle through 2 National Parks, the National Park Gesäuse and the National Park Kalkalpen.

Day 1 - Individual arrival to RadstadtThe cycling holidays start in Radstadt. Check-in and you receive your travel documents for your bike tour and handover of your rented bike, if booked. Day 2 - Radstadt–Gröbming, approx. 44 kmRiver Enns is a narrow river at the beginning and towards Styria enjoy the breathtaking view onto the south walls of Mt. Dachstein before cycling to Schladming, location of the skiing world cup. The village broadens and now your cycle route continues leisurely with just one short climb to Gröbming. Day 3 - Gröbming–Admont, approx. 55 kmCycling through the wide Ennstal valley a splendid view of the Gesaeuse Mountain peaks opens up and a visit of the magnificent Benedictine Monastery with the world's largest library in Admont, is well worth visiting. Day 4 - Admont–Landl, approx. 55 kmToday, along your bike route the valley becomes narrower. The water of the River Enns gushes out of narrow gorges of the National Park “Gesaeuse” flowing through the National Park Kalkalpen. The 20 km long gorge is certainly one of Austria's most natural spectacles. After cycling you enjoy a visit at the goat-cheese dairy Milwisch with an inspection of the cheese dairy and taste the different Styrian goat cheese variety. Day 5 - Landl–Großraming, approx. 40 kmOn the 5th day of your cycling tour reach the Ennstal Valley in Upper Austria with the grand mountains and forests from the National Park Kalkalpen. Day 6 - Großraming–Steyr, approx. 40 kmThe River Enns experienced its great commercial importance by trading iron. With rafts the rough ore was shipped to producers of pocketknives and this long past handcraft is shown in a museum. Afterwards enjoy a hearty snack at the Hofstadl tavern. Day 7 - Steyr–Linz, approx. 50 kmThrough the confluence of River Steyr the River Enns becomes a grand stream floating passed the same called town. You follow the river along the cycle path to Enns, from there you cycle the last kilometres along the Danube cycle path to Linz. Day 8 - Individual departure or extra nightsIndividual departure – in addition bookable a return transfer by train to Radstadt.
Note for people with limited mobility
The cycle tour is not suitable for people with limited mobility. However, in specific cases it is possible to accommodate individual customer requests (e.g. barrier-free room).
Passport and visa requirements
To check in to your hotel you will need a valid passport or ID card.
For citizens of countries outside the Schengen area other regulations may apply. You are responsible for obtaining any visa you may require in good time.
Terms and Conditions of Payment:
The deposit of 10% of the tour price is due at the latest 14 days after receipt of the booking confirmation. The balance must be paid 7 days before arrival.
The general travel conditions of 1992 apply with following cancellation conditions: Prior to arrival the customer can cancel in written form at any time the booked arrangement. In case of cancellation or no show we charge following fees:
20% of the tour price up to 28 days before arrival date
30% of the tour price from 27th to 14th day before arrival date
50% of the tour price from 13th to 8th day before arrival date
70% of the tour price from 7th to 4th day before arrival date
90% of the tour price from 3rd day before arrival date to the day of arrival or “no show”
In case the booking is changed from the customer himself (change of date, duration of the tour or participant) up to 28 days prior arrival, a handling fee of € 50,- per booking is charged.
Thereafter the previous cancellation conditions apply. Such a change of booking is only in individual cases a possibility customers do not have a claim on it.
